This mod will change the default HUD of the game into a more busy looking one. It adds a bunch of "unnecessary" visuals and shifts things about to give you an impression of a more involved HUD interface. The functionality remains the same and the mod adds nothing mechanically new into the mix.

Almost all panels are redesigned and are located in different places. This will with most certainty cause clipping issues with some things since I haven't tested the HUD thoroughly with every possible situation.

For now the HUD is white in colour, but I will be adding to the HUD and different colour variations and altered layout options will be available in the future. This is just the initial release for those who want to try it out.

The HUD is by no means perfect and some people may find it a little too cluttered and busy. There's a lot of visual noise, but that is exactly what I was aiming for with the mod. It's not supposed to be the best possible HUD functionally, but it is instead supposed to be a very exciting looking HUD with lots of little details here and there. It also will not be the HUD for you if you enjoy playing in the 3rd person view or "drone cam." There's just way too much going on on the screen for that.

Things to note. These will be fixed later down the line:

- I've only tested the HUD in 1920x1080 resolution. It may not function well with larger or smaller resolutions.

- The objective panel may clip with the compass visuals in missions where you have more involved mission descriptions.

- The minimap expansion animation is a bit glitchy for now and the map wont return back to its exact original position if you expand the map during a mission.

- If you're taking heat damage from overheating the damage direction indicator points towards the heat bar. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not.

- During the tutorial part of the game when you're being told about the HUD elements, the flashing indicators around the elements are not sized to fit properly. But this shouldn't be an issue since you only see those flashes during the tutorial at the beginning of the game anyway.

Installation:

- Copy the MW5Mercs-Z01-HUD1_0.pak file into your  Mechwarrior 5 pak folder. Located in "\MW5Mercs\Content\Paks."

The HUD should not conflict with any other mods you may be running, except potentially with the ones that alter HUD functionality.

If you need to change the load order for the HUD, change the number "01" after the letter "Z" to a higher number.

You can change the name of the mod from "HUD1_0" to anything you'd like if for some reason you want to do so. It shouldn't break anything.
