Tanks, VTOLs and Turrets have 3x their base game HP as default setting. If you don't like that, go to Options / Mod Options / Yet Another Mechlab and set their HP multipliers to lower values. Or set it directly from the MW5 main screen. Walking over a tank still does 1 point of AoE damage like in vanilla.
Bobbert's Mod Options is technically not required (YAML works without it). It is a highly recommended mod, adding support for custom settings of other mods (within MW5 Options menu - a new tab Mod Options magically appears). Not having Mod Options limits you to the default values of dozens or hundreds of configurable settings of many mods.
So, in short: use Mod Options. Longer: Nexus auto-ticks the "required mods" checkbox when updating a mod. And since YAML has it as a soft-requirement / included in that list, whenever I forget to untick that checkbox, YAML download will open that dialogue.
hi there just wondering if there is a way to change to transparancy of the Tool tips of weapons and parts in the Mech lab.? it seems to be set to like 90% transparent at the moment and it makes it really hard to read.
also is there a way to manually scroll the discriptions at the bottom of the tooltips, as im a slow reader and having it move up and down on its own is frustrating.
other then that love the mod , the game is so much better with it.

In case anyone stumbles upon this down the road, I track it down to enabling YAML's HDR option in Mod Options. I simply disabled this restarted the game, and it's back to normal background with the blur effect. I left my Windows HDR setting on and the game looks great. Not sure what the YAML HDR setting is supposed to do. Don't seem to need it. Maybe it's conflicting with some other setting somewhere?
it seems or after the installation of this mod, some mechs have a transparent texture of the structure, when the armor is still there it is normal as soon as the armor is destroyed there is an empty space

I don't think this has to do anything with YAML, I'm simply asking because I'm finding it weird and was wondering if it was a "game limitation", but in the Mechbay Inventory, you can click columns like "SIZE" or "TONS" and you change the sorting, but if you click on a Mech weapon slot so you get the "EQUIPPING TO <X> SLOT" message in the Inventory window, the ability to Sort by clicking is now not available. It's not a big deal, but It's just weird. Is this something that can't be modded?
New update, first, can't find where the new "dropship upgrade system" located. The pop up menu says I have bunch of point, but couldn't find the place to spend it. Second, my mech salvage parts are completely wiped clean. Only completed mechs in cold storage are intact. Don't know whether it's bug or just a side effect of YAML updating during an active savegame.
I was wondering if there is a way to skip or complete missions with this mod and if not could someone direct me to one that can. I am stuck on imminent threat as the vtols will not spawn.
Anyone know where the "points" or "unlocks" for the Upgrades are stored? I was assuming the main Save Game file, maybe as a YAML parameter, but I can't see it. I had put in a few upgrades, then I was messing with other mods, and it looks as if they reset? (not blaming anything, could be something weird I did like turn on/off/on/off a few thing) and wanted just to add back in like 10 more points to get what I had before, just can't see where/how they are stored or flagged "unlocked", if anyone know, it would mean I have learned something new. Thanks either way.
