I thought it would be good if I explain some stuff here.
This mod can not just be "updated"... it needs to be re-made. The game that was released in 2019 was an under-development alpha version, PGI continued to develop it further. A lot has been changed on the foundation of this game. The modded assets are not simply added to the game, they replace original assets in the game file... and when original assets go through major updates, then your old modifications replacing the new files will often lead to crashes, since the modded assets does not include the updates PGI made. The changes to modded assets can not be "copy/pasted". That's not how UE4 works. You need to create functions, address variables, modify original code and BP graphs... none of which is "copy/paste-able"
Back in early 2020 I had free time and could work 5 hours a day on mw5 mods. This is not the case anymore. I am neck deep in work projects and don't even have enough time to sleep. Even through weekends. I can't take hours off, and I can't accept donations or have any financial problems. Simply, I don't have enough time on my hands. Certainly not a full month of full time every day work that's needed to remake this.
This is going to be the situation at least for the next 7-8 months. After than, I'll have to wait and see.
i seen another hud by navida1 and get surprized this one made by same author too. this one remindz me mv4 papperdoll with armor/structure bars to know exact armor remains. sad this one outdated too(
I would be honored if you'd let me help you remake this mod. I want no credit, I just want to do my part. Message me if there is any way that this could happen.
has this guy UL this for someone else to take on? if not take your mod down and move on i hate when modders stop supporting mods they make and just leave it up for people to DL only to find out it doesn't work seriously take some responsibility
Hey, just be mindful of NavidA1, I don't know him but from what he says he has a lot on his plate, it's a bit unfair to ask him (force him) to work on this mod) As he said, it would require a lot of work because he needs to start it from scratch because the devs were not mindful enough to make some kind of compatibility with their update. And NavidA1 worked on this mod for free, so we should be thankful he used so much free time to mod the game and post it here. Anyway, it's certainly not with this kind of message that he will come back to the modding scene.
Maybe he'll come back one day, who knows? but we'll just have to be patient... Maybe he's even waiting to see if the devs will release one more addon before going back to modding? (I actually hope for one additional one) Since the updates constantly break mods. If anything, we should be angry at the devs, not at NavidA1.

Big FAT colored letters says it doesn't work, try reading the descriptions and if that's the case, just move on. You don't need to pile on a bunch of snark and sass because you're upset.
I agree with you 100%i just buy MW5M on steam I looking for mod the enhance the gameplay,and yes if a mod don't work or can't be update anymore,people should not be enable to download it,and yes this mod don;t work for steam atleast
Thank you navida1 for your hard work. This mod drastically improved my experience of the game when I played it vanilla. Coming back into it after 2 DLCs, I sorely miss how awesome things looked.

I'm getting the feeling that if we want to see this mod again, it will have to be done from scratch. I'm not really a modder and have no idea what kind of an ask that really is, but that might be what it is.
Didn't even get to use it since i started playing when kestrel released, but as others said, it's the only HUD mod i'd be happy using. Best of luck, and hope someday something like this one pops up!!!
i wish you luck with your projects, this mod was something that helped me a significant amount, primarily your HTAL bar armor display, something that i considered essential from the older mechwarrior games, the paper doll just doesnt cut it for me and your hud was the only one that changed that specific element, looking forward to your return

You should try on the MW5 discord instead where I already saw him lurks.
