idk if it's a bug but Fahad randomly spawns in different locations now for me every time I start the game.
i.e. he has returned to the lower deck but was near bay 3 instead of bay 1 and then another time he was nearly in front of the mech in bay 1.
Honestly I really like that, it gives life to the dropship imo, dont patch it out lol. Great Mod, it makes so much more sense to be let out on the catwalk then the ground.
I only had single player in mind. The spawn points for the other players are still where they used to be. I'm not sure if they would be required to have this mod or not. Might be worth trying anyway, if you do can you please reply with your findings?
my friend and I are both doing this mod and he hosts our multiplayer session. Only he spawns at the top and I dont. I convinced him to install the mod so I as second player wouldn't have to run up the stairs. Disappointing
Putting you closer wouldn't fix your issue, because if you are within the activation circle of the terminal when you spawn then you are not able to activate the terminal. You have to leave the activation circle then re-enter for it to work (that's why the closest terminal didn't work in the original spawn location). I could put you further away so you are just outside the activation circle then all you have to do is take a step forward into it.
However you don't need to go to the terminal. Just press tab on your keyboard to open the menu.

As OnlyHeavyMetal posted, I too am using more resources when loading up this mod. It causes all in-hanger movement to be sluggish, even a post-battle loot selection has a mouse cursor that is swimming in mud. Performance returns to normal when mod is disabled.

I don't notice any difference in performance and I have a 4GB RX570(basically minimum spec). wonder if it's setting related, as I don't have my settings turned right up.
When you copy the map asset to your mod for editing you need to rebuild the lighting. Seems like when I made the mod I built the lighting at the preview setting rather than high.
I'm about to upload a new file with lighting built at high. As I never noticed it anyway, would you mind testing for me and seeing if this fixes it? It'd be greatly appreciated.
Ok, I've uploaded it under optional files for now so it can be tested to see if it fixes the issue.
For some reason Fahad is in his original location, must have done something wrong, if this does prove to fix the performance then I'll update it again with Fahad in the correct location.
So there is still something about the lighting that is causing a lot of drag and screen tear. Would it be possible to change the spawn points for yourself and farhad without touching the lighting? If it's too much trouble, no worries, maybe this isnt the mod, don't feel like you have to constantly fix it just for my sake.
No unfortunately, when you make the hangar asset part of your mod, it forces you to recalculate the lighting. I still find it strange, because it's not causing me any issues, and I would guess a lot of others as well or it would have been vocalized more than it has been.
Sorry I am unable to resolve your issue, but I do wonder if something else is causing it. Be it another mod, graphics settings, graphics drivers or reshade if you're using it?
A mod I never knew I needed. This adds so much more immersion to the game, now after each mission I'm up on the deck inspecting my mechs damage, and keeping notes on which pilots cost me the least in repairs. .
I can't see why this would effect performance. I haven't added anything. The only two things I changed was the spawn location and fahad's location. I've not noticed any performance hits and my gpu is nothing flash, it's basically minimum spec. Could it be a different mod causing your performance issues?

I guess the other players could spawn on their platforms rather than the walkway? But I have no way to test to see if it works.
I have not played co-op before but I assumed that only the host needs to talk to the npc's?
