Missile VFX
A huge amount of effort went in to making HFB Missiles 2.0 more performant. FPS hits are much lower than prior versions thanks to some behind the scenes management of particle effects that dramatically reduce GPU buffer writing without noticeable reduction of quality.
Hellfire and Brimstone Missiles is now MercTech compatible using MercTech v1.1.1.0 or later.
Known issues: - I do not recommend use of this mod with the Ultra Visual Mod unless you want a lightshow (see video section). The UV mod indiscriminately amplifies lighting effects. If you do, you may need to play with HFB configuration in the Gameplay Options menu to get an acceptable frame-rate/effect. PPC electrical discharge should probably be set to "Off".
