This mod can be found on the epic mod page for the game, with a published date of Aug 26, 2022, but I'm not sure if it is actually updated and working, or if someone just published this on there at that date.
broken causes ""LowLevelFatalError snip Missing Dependency, request for"" on mission load. something about trying to load files and not being generated yet
I just successfully installed this mod and am looking forward to playing with it, but I get a fatal error on launch. It says I'm missing the dependency, WeatherAndSky.WeatherAndSky_C I downloaded the zip and extracted it to my mod folder, launched the game and enabled the mod no problem. But when the mod is enabled, the game crashes on launch with the referenced error. If I delete the specific mod folder, the game boots up again no problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Pleeeeeeeeease update this mod :( Its one of a few that makes the games better in a great way.. And im sure that some people would give you money for an update
A lead developer from PGI contacted me to inform me that the insane positive reception to my mod, vastly increasing the immersion of the game, was so popular that they successfully pushed for some of the changes to more-or-less be implemented in the game itself. For example, the severity of weather in extreme conditions feels much more appropriate in the vanilla game now.
Really? When is that supposed to happen? i bought the game yesterday on steam, and the supposed "blizzard" in the second mission wasnt much more then light snowfall with clear view.
If you could update this eventually i would be grateful, i would enjoy some actual bad weather
Yep, really. I think the reason that the particular mission you mentioned doesn't have a real blizzard is because it isn't a procedural mission. Despite the mission description saying it's a "blizzard", the weather settings were likely set manually since it's not a regular procedurally generated mission.
I will likely try to update this mod, but can't give an estimated time of when that might happen yet.
As of 7/19/21 no longer works with current game patch. Will run for a bit before crashing informing that this mod directly is at fault. Any news as to why or when this might be fix is appreciated.
