*LAZY EDIT 03JUL20*

After a hiatus and returning to MW5 just to mess with settings more and what not, I
grew increasingly dissatisfied with Industrial Reshade V0.20. In the end
I started from scratch and experimented with new filters and the result
is Industrial Cinema V0.10

It's intended for improving upon MechWarrior's built post processing and FidelityFX sharpening while
changing the mood. It needs testing and I really need to go to bed.

Is this going to be a new alternate to the Industrial Reshade Prime preset
or a complete repacement? I can't say, but so far I like what I'm
seeing. Maybe my tastes have changed, maybe PGI has done a good job of patching the game, probably both.

Enjoy.

*END EDIT*

Tired of the cartoonish overly saturated colors, looking for something more immersive? Reshade is a highly compatible and easy way to visually improve MechWarrior 5 and change the over-all mood.

Industrial Reshade is a low resource intensive, grimy and semi-realistic reshade for MechWarrior 5. Adding darker shadows, truer nights and a demotivating color palette during the day fit for an industrial war across worlds.

There are now two versions Industrial Reshade:
PRIME
  • Origonal art direction of this reshade project
  • Makes larger changes to color tones and moods
    • Cleaner darker shadows
    • Helps defog
    • Improvements to contrast
    • Improved clarity; distant objects are less blurry
    • Nights are dark and beautiful now
    • Most colors are slightly understated instead of overstated

NATURAL
  • Natural white balanced color profile
  • Cleaner darker shadows
  • Helps defog
  • Improvements to contrast
  • Improved clarity; distant objects are less blurry
  • Most colors are natural instead of overstated

Concerns:
  • Due to PGI's weird lighting and saturation choices, the lava on the volcano levels will almost always fall victim when corrections are made else-where.
  • Hasn't been tested on every machine/enviroment.
