Compressed FMV cutscenes, loading screens, Trials of War map previews, storyboard videos, technical readout animations, and credits background for Steam Deck.
Comms and debrief portraits, Simpod screen, and certain elements from the Smoke Jaguar campaign couldn't be compressed, and thus remain unaltered.
Campaign Cutscenes: 22.8GB (8.1GB at 720p)
Credits Background: 261.1MB (179.5MB at 720p)
Loading Screens: 1.2GB (409.6MB at 720p)
Digital Collector's Edition Storyboards: 264.2MB (190.9MB at 720p)
Trials of War Map Previews: 3.1GB (454MB with simple re-encoding, no resolution change)
Digital Collector's Edition Technical Readouts: 673.8MB (337.5MB at 720p)
Total: 28.3GB (9.6GB after going Undertonnage)
Total Game Size: 94.7GB as of the 05/23/2025 update (76GB after going Undertonnage)
Compressed with RAD Video Tools, and audio compress level 0.
Will do my best to update this if PGI adjusts the videos through patches, or adds more through future DLC.
To install, unpack to /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/MechWarrior 5 Clans/MW5Clans/Content/Movies, overwrite when asked.
To uninstall, verify your game files through Steam itself.
NOTE: 05/23/2025 update expands the Digital Collector's Edition content to cover the Flash Storm DLC, but seems to offer no new videos other than some fixes to comms portrait animations. As such, this mod won't be updated unless that changes.
