-----------------1) What's in here? 

An evolved version of the Mektek MW4 Mercs 3.1 free release.
It's standalone and compatible with win 10, some people even got it working on win 11, although i have it running on win 10 and Nvidia card. Stop asking support for AMD and win 11, i am not a dev house, i have no idea how to address those.
Overhauls the campaign mode making the missions a lot harder by adding mektek mechs into the campaign.
Rebalances the weapons so that their roles are more defined, using the cost as a balance factor.
Overhauls the sound and the music department, making the game a lot more immersive.
Makes the 4 factions really distinct in terms of free market tech available, adding value to a replay with a different faction.
Shuts down the repetitive "target destroyed" comments that the team mates do, so you can actually hear something and enjoy the game.

---------------2) How to set up?
First, enable direct play and legacy components
In the autoconfig, that you must run first, select the 1080p one (1920x1080) and, in the video adapter panel, select the second video card.
IF YOU USE THE "NO DGVOODOO" VERSION, you are good to go, i released this because some dudes just could not figure out how to tweak dgvoodoo.
IF YOU USE THE REGULAR VERSION, then you will have dgvoodoo and reshade: the mechlab will not be stretched and you will have better visuals: you must though open dgVoodooCpl.exe and follow my video.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SUGGESTED CAMPAIGN PATH---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do not play Solaris early on: it will advance the time and give you access to better mechs too early, ruining your experience...also it's a money cheat.
Do play exclusively at  ---------ELITE--------- difficulty: you are meant to lose some mechs and team mates here and there, if you play at lower difficulties you will just find the salvage too generous.

---------------3)Factions, what's new?
A) Kell Hounds: nothing new, use this if you want the default MekTek free market experience
B) Wolf's Dragoons: mainly clan focused, bigger mechs are a lot less common and appear way later in the campaign, so you can't spam 8 Daishis and Behemoths straight away and ruin the game.
C) Grey Death Legion: mainly IS focused, bigger mechs are a lot less common and appear way later in the campaign, so you can't spam 8 Annihilators and Marauder IIs straight away and ruin the game.
D) Northwind Highlanders: cheat mode if you find that the game is too hard for your skills: better rewards, heavier starting mechs and 5 atlases available in the free market even before you touch the first planet.

---------------4) Known bugs
A) In built mouse acceleration that i am not able to remove
B) Extended view breaks very often: in order to activate it 100% every time you launch the game you must flag it off and on from video settings and then go multiplayer, video settings and again off on and then it goes: you are sure it is working when you point at the sky and it tells you "1300 meters" instead of "1000".
C) Firing the Large Beam Laser in camapign mode might cause your game to restart. After that it will work just fine.
D) In some cases (extremely rare and case sensitive bug) if you look at the dropship while it explodes the game might have a "restart crash": do not look at the dropship while it blows up.

*WHY SHOULD I PLAY IT AGAIN IF I ALREADY PLAYED 1.0?*
-Gray Death Legion with IS advanced tech is now an option for real, due to some IS buffs.
-Most dropships take off and come to catch you, most mid-late missions are a lot harder.
-More builds available due to hardpoint tweaks
-Hesperus and Talon have been edited A LOT to provide better mid-late game challenge.

-weapon rebalance: less alphastrike, faster cooldown or less heat for a lot of weapons, most IS acs weight less, MRM class weight less.
-hardpoint remake: a lot of mechs have more hardpoint options, thanks to TheNthJojo for showing the method
-music remake: a lot more soundtracks and a lot less silent moments: better immersion
-Gray death legion improved: more IS advanced tech available
-Wolfs Dragoons, added more clan based weapons, heavies and assaults delayed later in the campaign.

-fixed new avalon spaceport bushwacker not showing up because too busy team killing half of his own team, causing the mission to stall

-eaton merc b changed location where the reinforce lance aims at
-ppc,gauss and XPL weapon icons now don't stop glowing anymore once installed on the mech, the ammo arrows are still functioning even if invisible.
