Town Of Veluca Overhaul

City overhaul for Rhodok town of Veluca. Can be played with Native, or any module based on the Native Warband Map, such has diplomacy mod and the 2 billion versions/tweaks of it. The scene is built just using Native Props! Hope you have fun in the new Siege scene and exploring the town.

Siege is quite hard for attackers the Defensive positions can be very challenging to break *rhodok crossbows rly hurt*  The siege becomes harder in the last section the closer you get to enemy reinforcements. I found the gameplay to be rly fun and intense and the Design can accommodate really large battles.

>I have more town overhauls like this for Native Singleplayer Warband, check those on my profile at NexusMods<

//////////////// Main differences from a vanilla siege experience ///////////////
My style of scene design is a bit different from the sieges you find in vanilla warband and addresses a few problems, that personally always bothered me:

1) In the vanilla style siege all the fighting focuses too much on the walls or a single wall, and having that for every single siege gets old at some stage. Here there's so much more going on, the scenes are much larger and the fight takes part in several locations around town with both wide areas and important choke-points!

2) In the vanilla style sieges, from the siege ladder to the initial walls, there is no much room to maneuver... and at some stage everyone is just blocking each-other from attacking , its all just too tight, vanilla siege becomes to claustrophobic and not that much fun sometimes! In my sieges, the walls are much wider giving you and your troops much more room to maneuver and fight!

3) in many vanilla style sieges you can "park" your archers right at the starting location, and kill a huge amount of defenders. I try to avoid this situation in my sieges, the defenders are well covered and can be hard to reach and shoot at! If you want to break the defence you will have to get in there. If you are attacking expect some loses, the defender should always have the advantage.

Hope you have some fun battles here!

*New and dif ideas can always bring new issues due to the simple design of the siege system in native warband, if you find any problems please report them here!
