Warlords of Azhrann is a sword and planet mod, a homage to the stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Leigh Brackett, Otis Adelbert Kline, Michael Moorcock, the Flash Gordon series, and others. This is an alpha version.

PLANS
I planned to have a story, in which you are a Terran astronaut stranded on the planet Azhrann or a native Azhrannite who finds a Terran astronaut. Either way, your quest will be to rid the planet of the parasitic Spaceclans. The latter has not yet been implemented. I decided to release this since at this point I'm not sure I can complete the mod as planned.

I could use help to complete this mod, as so far I've done everything myself.

FEATURES

- Adventure on an alien planet: landscape, scenes, vegetation, weapons and armor, mounts have been changed
- You can play as a Terran astronaut stranded on this alien planet
- Whatever character you choose, you will start with a Terran astronaut companion
- Terran companion is randomly determined
- You can purchase airships. Airships change move speed, party capacity, and inventory management
- You can hunt for food from the Camp menu
- You can explore ruins for treasure, including powerful ancient tech
- Tournaments and arena melee fights have been changed - fight alien opponents in melee!
- You now get extra money from arena melee fights - the patrons give you a tip if you win
- The tip goes up as your Reputation goes up

EXPLORING RUINS
To explore ruins, move your character to the ruins map icon on the world map. You will get a menu to enter the ruins or not. The ruins will be defended, so make sure you have some companions and good weapons.

After defeating the ruin denizens, search around the buildings for the glowing boxes/globes. These are chests that you can open by moving your character to them and pressing (F) when you get the Chest prompt.

HUNTING
Camp. You will get the option to hunt from the Camping menu. Different animals may be found depending on the terrain. There's also a random chance of encountering hostiles while hunting.

Attack the game animals with ranged weapons, or for extra challenge with a melee weapon. It's best to hunt mounted, game animals are fast.

You will get meat after exiting a successful hunt.

KNOWN ISSUES
- The scenes are a bit hilly
- AI agents will sometimes get stuck against ruins or vegetation
- The game sometimes crashes while aiming a ranged weapon in zoomed in mode
- The crash seems to happen only if you move while aiming in zoomed in mode
