Addon for Anno Domini 1257(v1.13). Mod doesn't change original balance, there are some changes for new troops, but i don't think they critically affect original balance. Stats numbers for new gear (armor rating, weight, cost e.t.c) has been taken from original mod (1 item has been nerfed - Khergit guard boots). Troop tree has been reworked, added 3 new troops. All mongolian equipment now also can be bought in Rus culture towns.
  Troops:
1.Mongolian kyshtym - same troop as original Mongolian Tribesman
2.Mongolian lubchiten - same troop as original Mongolian Skirmisher
3.Mongolian habutu - same troop as original Mongolian Horseman
4.Mongolian turhagut - same troop as original Mongolian Lancer

   About mid-range horse archers.
They doesn't perform cantabrian circle tactic, in other words, they don't use Anno Domini's horse archer AI. Instead, they using Native's like horse archer AI, but i'm not 100% sure about that, because it was long time ago when i played Native last time, and i don't remember how do khergit horse achers act in the battle, so i will describe their performing.
On the battlefield, when you command them to charge, they will draw melee weapon and go to offense. If you command them to use bows after that, they will ignore it, because they always start their attack with melee weapon if the "charge" command has been given. As i noticed, after killing a couple enemies, or getting a couple hits, archer takes out his bow and starts to shoot from mid-range, keeping safe distance from the enemy. If you want to use them only as horse archers, then command them to "follow" and "fire at will". But you need to keep a distance from the enemy, because if you get close, they will put away their bows and take out a shield; they will start shooting again after increasing the distance.
After testing those horse archers in the battle, i think that the best way to use them (especially if you don't like long fights) is to command them to charge at the beginning of battle, and they will do the rest.
If you get the feeling that they are OP in mounted melee combat, that's not my doing, because original veteran horse archer can do the same with melee weapon, you just didn't used them that way. I also did 3 more tests: 40 Keshiktens, Mangudais(melee weapon only) and Keshik-nukurs against 40 crusaders, and in all 3 cases the result was the same - no casualities at my side.
So it's like a new type of unit and it's difficult to compare them with others. Mergens (and his predecessors) are long-ranged units, it's difficult to kill them because they are fast and shoot from a large distance, but fights last longer with them. Mid-range horse archer fights at close-mid range (of course they can fight from a long range as i described before, but you will need to command them), so it will be easier to kill them compare to Nukurs/Mangudais/Mergens, but they are not so vulnerable; both Hoshuchi and Keshik-nukur use a composite bow (which has more attack speed), wear heavy armor and rides on a heavy barded destrier, and they won't go full-melee-suicide-berserk like Turhagut/Keshikten, they will use bow and keep safe distance instead, so you shouldn't be afraid by sending them to attack heavy infantry.

IMPORTANT NOTES: mod requires to start a new game. After creating a new character, go to the camp menu and disable "Troop rebalancing", otherwise you will not see correct troop equipment from mod files. Before installation, i recommend you to backup all files this mod replace, or just backup the entire AD1257 folder.
About graphic: if you want same colors as on screenshots, remove "postFX.fx" file from AD1257 main folder.

INSTALLATION
Main mod:
Unzip "Golden Horde - AD1257.rar" into AD1257 main folder, replace files.
Open "module.ini" file in the same folder, find the last line named "load_mod_resource", and under this line add "load_mod_resource = GH_1257AD" (without quotes)

(optional)GH_Sounds_AD1257 (new sounds):
Unzip "(optional)GH_Sounds_AD1257.rar" into AD1257 main folder, replace files.
