Does the module system included match the txt files? Was the module system ported to WB? Also, why doesn't Morghs M&B WB-WFAS Editor work properly with the txt files (in particular troops tab gets stuck for good and items tab gives lots of errors)? I'm thinking about merging Custom Settlements with this one: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,80871.0.html Also it would be super helpful to get shortcuts to talk to traders and such for the settlement menu, which shouldn't be too hard to do on python.

As for editing troops, just came up with the following tweak (thx to http://rusmnb.ru/index.php?topic=7427.0 and http://5.9.87.217/index.php?topic=255.2250) that adds an option to change the troop inventory (globally, even for the same units at the enemy disposal) by talking to them. I know, its not perfect, in fact very glitchy (if you try to reequip the unit be ready for given items to disappear), yet it has its pros, such as possibility to more closely examine the inventory of the unit. Just add the following two lines into conversations.txt on top, right above "dlga_member_chat:close_window":

    dlga_regular_member_talk:view_regular_char_requested 69631 879 0 Tell_me_about_your_gear 8800 0
    dlga_view_regular_char_requested:do_regular_member_view_char 4095 8800 0 Aye_{sir/madam}._Let_me_show_it_to_you. 881 1 2051 1 144115188075855885

Also at the very top of the file update the number +2.

Another tweak I'm looking into is to lower the chance of taking a lord prisoner from 100% to say 50% so they do not keep being annoying attacking you after you let them go and instead "manage to make it to Empty safely"

In long term that would be a cool enhancement of the mod to make the custom troops editable from within the game through talking to the stewart/settlement menu where you would have to pay for the unit equipment/training upgrades (similar to the custom knight orders of Pendor). Again, this doesn't seem to be too complicated to do via the module system.

Also http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,185173.0.html ;ooks like a bit better way to make settlements custom, but it would mean need to start the mode from scratch...

Can't tell you why Morghs M&B WB-WFAS Editor doesn't work, as I didn't make this mod. I only took steps to make it run better in warband and uploaded it for people on forum asking for it.

      Original board is here
      http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,122.0.html

Wickedshot been long gone sadly and stopped making the mod, but some people still like to play it like myself and wanted to play it on warband too. Since I had already been playing it on Warband, I mentioned to them I would upload the file so they could in hopes someone might continue the work where Wickedshot left off. I use TroopEditor to edit the troops for this mod, it doesn't seem to get angry like Morghs does. I believe this is the one I used..

It seems that Module System does not match the txt files, as when I try to compile the modules the mod stops working. Do you still have the up-to-date Module System? Could you upload it? Maybe someone will pick it up from where it was left and bring this mod back to life!

The only problem is WHAT TO DO WITH IT? It seems that CTD when you encounter/select/see voyager (and possibly other troops) is related to blue_dress mesh as it is in its inventory. Any ideas on how to fix this CTD?

I think I figured it out. So, first of all, all the versions of this costumes_a.brf file that I downloaded were broken. What i did though, is downloaded the editor here: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,72279.0.html There under one of the description spoilers is a picture of what costumes_a.brf suppose to look like. I made a copy of costumes_d.brf that is in WB/CommonRes folder renamed it into costumes_a.brf and then edited the names of the meshes to match the picture in the spoiler (so the "blue dress" is actually green now). Then opened module.ini in the WB/modules/Custom Settlement folder and added the following line
      load_resource = costumes_a
      Boom, no error and CTDs.

costumes_a.brf is from original mount and blade, not warband. All had to do was dl the demo if don't already own it and add it to your folder where the others were. Line was already listed in the module.ini as it was originally from mod for the original mount and blade =)

I mentioned this in the description, but I now updated it to explain it better.

NO The download works but the mod it self doesn't work I did what it said and even tried my own solutions but nothing work just said the same thing which was costume error... even though I did everything adding in the costume creating work around nothing works...If you or the uploader have found a solution please tell me I would love to play it on Warband!

Hey um when I start up Custom Settlements the loading screen crashes and goes into a black screen. And I get an error message saying it can't load a costume texture or something. Could you please replay to me and tell me how to fix this cause I want to play your mod it sounds fun.

Hi, is this file still available? I have played the M&B version and would think it would be great on Warband
