This is a fix for the odd and inefficient equipment selection on Slave Crushers and Slaver Chiefs. For the Expanded Version only! Backup your original Troops.txt in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Mount&Blade Warband\Modules\Floris Expanded Mod Pack 2.5 folder, then copy, past, overwrite with this file. This fix is completely savegame compatible as it just alters the equipment for each troop.
Extract file using your extraction tool of choice. This file makes the following changes.
Slave Crusher
-Removed Long-hafted Polearms, Slave Crushers had a Polearm proficiency of 40, making this item useless. -Added a Spiked Mace, Slave Crushers had no One Handed weapons, despite their high proficiency and guaranteed spawning with a shield. -Removed the Leathered Warhorse, Slave Crushers will now spawn with just Brass Warhorses. Leathered Warhorses are inferior horses used by Slave Hunters, the upgrade prior to Slave Crushers.
Slaver Chiefs
-Removed the Battle Elephant, replaced with Leathered Charger. The Battle Elephant's collision properties were all messed up and the Slaver Chiefs sat too high on them, making them unable to attack in melee. -Removed Long-hafted Polearm for the same reason as Slave Crushers, they only have a proficiency of 40, making it effectively useless. -Removed Sarranid Recurve Bow and Desert Arrows. Not sure why these were added, but this is a Prisoner Management line of troop, no lethal weapons allowed! That and Slaver Chiefs have an Archery proficiency of 40 and 0 Power Draw.
These changes will bring the Chiefs/Crushers back to their respective level of power without throwing game balance off.
