This mini mod is basically the beginnings of something I've been kicking around; basically I love diplomacy but I just wish there were more options related to fleshing out the culture of your kingdom- your own culture, custom troop trees, etc. Obviously that's a bit longer project than the simple mod I've implemented here. I don't know if I'll find the time to implement the big idea, but the little mod is actually kind of fun, so I thought I'd share it.

What it contains:
-6 new companions, they're basically intended to be future vassals, but hey it's your kingdom, do what you want. Most of them can't really stand Klethi or Dashavi; and most of them are from Swadia. They are also generally honorable fellows (you're not going to want to promote bastards who might turn against you now, right?).One of them is a cool samurai. What he's doing in calradia, who knows.

The real appeal of these companions is that you can send them to your fiefs, and you don't then have to give up companions that you might like to keep around in your party instead.

-A custom troop tree, for you (and you alone). As soon as you own a kingdom, your villages will produce these troops (sometimes it takes a day or two in game to switch). They're based off roman troops, and I've added some Roman items and equipment to fit it out. No, not even remotely historical, but the goal is to re-create the Empire, and if you're going to do it, why not the whole hog?

-a couple little changes like darkening the color of the Khanate (so that it's easier to distinguish from Vaegirs), and upping the body armor value of Mail and Plate (which some of the better units in the custom tree are kitted with) Which one elite companion comes with.

If you're curious about the custom troop tree, the new troops are:
Socius->Veles
Veles->Hastatius OR Auxililium
Hastatius->Princeps
Princeps->Centurion OR Equite
Auxilium->Saggitarius
Saggitarius->Veteran Saggitarius OR Mounted Saggitarius
Equite->Cataphractus

These troops tend to be slightly stronger than other faction troops. If you want more of a challenge, just go into the source and drop them down a couple levels.

If you hate all the custom armor, I can upload version 1.2 which uses only native resources.
