use a gamepad with mount & blade & stil be able to issue all orders, fight well, aim well, & experience it in a new way. its what im using...loving it.. it improves the fun factor quite a bit..plus it suits the game well. 2 sets of buttons acting as keyboard and mouse programmed to 1 pad ull see u hold top shoulder b

use a gamepad with mount & blade & stil be able to issue all orders, fight well, aim well, & experience it in a new way.
its what im using...loving it..it improves the fun factor quite a bit..plus it suits the game well. 2 sets of buttons acting as keyboard and mouse programmed to 1 pad ull see u hold top shoulder button down to access 2nd control set (orders) and it becomes 2nd nature very fast.
both versions are here xbox & dual analog pad layouts.
pad layout is combat & camera-oriented with only the d-pad covering leave area, party, inventory menus, the rest of first set is:
L2 block, R2 attack, L1 camera, R1 2nd set, 4 buttons covering weapon change & shield & action & view costume camera, start button is sheath weapon, select is options. left stick is move & depress is zoom in, right stick is mouse-look & depress is jump.
[b]2nd set is R1 when held which makes right stick & most buttons now serve as orders keys, all battle orders are featured there were spookily enuf buttons to fit them exactly. while in 2nd mode, u can stil block attack & move.
map navigation is fine with the pad using sticks and other buttons, tho ur free to use the mouse at same time as pad. depressing right stick in the inventory/shop menus and pressing attack (R2) wil quick-transfer items.
make shure when using xpadder that the 1st button set is selected again if u were browsing the layout.
(only time ul have to pick up ur keyboard during play is to type the character name at start seriously & im Shure the layout is just right now)
file contains xpadder, xpadder config, pad button profiles, M & B profiles.
use default control layout in m&b options coz thats what this is programmed for. if the right stick speed isnt correct on ur pad simply change mouse sensitivity in m&b options.
