Do you guys ever feel like your cool early armor was nice and resent ditching it for something with better stats?

Do you just like to feel like you're upgrading your armor as time goes?

I have been tinkering with this for a long time. This is one such progression line, that I developed for the Leather armor worn by Rhodoks. The third armor is vanilla, just to show the progression in armor category.

I have half a mind of doing one of leather over mail too, and a very heavy one that incorporates a coat of plates into the torso.
