Requirements
Permissions and credits
Commander Shepard has been through a lot so you would expect them to be ready for anything given everything that's happened. My Shepard is a powerful biotic who loves charging into battle and obliterating everything that stands between him and his goal. Vanguards are relatively decent at this though once an enemy comes through wearing shields he's basically stopped in his tracks... well that doesn't make much sense to me. You'd think he'd be prepared for that, right? Well now he is. With some help from his lovely Quarian, he's learned how to use his Omni-Tool -- so those shields are no longer a threat!

Overview:

Replaces Vanguard

Powers:

Biotic Charge
Nova
Warp
Singularity
Flare
Lash
Reave
Energy Drain
Overload

This adds more than the standard amount of powers you would have. As it stands the power list is right at the bottom of the UI and the descriptions are kind of cut off but it's a small sacrifice. Auto-level up will only level up Vanguard and Fitness powers too since I don't use it and didn't feel like making so many changes, every power is available at the start as well.

I have not tested any Bonus Powers as of yet nor do I intend to because I don't need them anymore. Feel free to give it a try and see what happens.

Additionally, until someone figures out how to expand it, you won't be able to get all of your powers on the power wheel so unlock them in the order you plan to use most and then retrain you powers whenever you want to switch to something else before a mission. Unfortunate, I know, but it can't be helped.

Also, with the increased amount of powers you will have there will definitely NOT be enough talent points available with just the standard talent point system to have everything fully upgraded. The base game offers a total of 181 talent points. This mod requires 231 total talent points to fully upgrade everything.  I'll have a quick "how to" guide down below to explain how to change that.

Installation:

Requires ME3 Tweaks Mod Manager - Just drag the file into it and hit "Apply Mod".

Compatibility:

Not compatible with any mod that alters the SFXCharacterClass_Vanguard.pcc file. Pretty much any mod that changes the Vanguard Class in any way won't work.

Resources:

Build A Class - Really helped me figure out how to get everything working properly.
ME3 Tweaks Wiki - Some useful stuff if you're into Coalesced editing. (required for Talent Point increase)

Tools:

ME3 Tweaks Mod Manager - Needed for installation, also comes with a suite of useful tools to make your own mods (i.e. if you don't like a specific power, change it yourself. :] ).

Wenchy Coalesced Editor - Useful in editing to Coalesced file, greatly simplifies the process.

How To:

So you want to have all of your powers fully upgraded? Great! Then just pick up the Wenchy Coalesced Editor and locate your Coalesced.bin file in your installation folder! (...\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\BioGame\CookedPCConsole) Make a backup of this file so you don't have to sit through the long, grueling process of repairing and then reinstalling mods and such.

  • Open Wenchy Coalesced Editor
  • Open the Coalesced.bin file in the editor.
  • Click the + button next to Biogame.ini.
  • Click the + button next to SFXGame
  • Click the + button next to SFXGameConfig

  • Click levelrewards = (multiple) and a table will appear to the right with a list of
(Level=1, ExperienceRequired=0,TalentReward=3,HenchmanTalentReward=1) stuff going all the way from 1 to 60.

  • New game users (I.e. not importing a ME2 save) will need to change the very first line in the table.
    (Level=1, ExperienceRequired=0,TalentReward=3,HenchmanTalentReward=1)
You will change the number 3 to 53. This will ensure that by the time you hit level 60 you will have 231 total Talent Points and you won't have to worry about them resetting every time you load.

  • Import From ME2: You'll likely start the game out at level 30 so you just scroll down to
    (Level=30, ExperienceRequired=0,TalentReward=2,HenchmanTalentReward=1)
Change the number 2 to 52. This will ensure that by the time you hit level 60 you will have 231 total Talent Points and you won't have to worry about them resetting every time you load.

  • Active Playthrough: You just need to find what your next level is and just add 50 to the number. i.e Level 38 would need to be changed to 54 talent points.
  • Save and enjoy.

Additionally you can also change the HenchmanTalentReward=1 to 18 so they can also max out their upgrades. Completely up to you.

If getting that many talent points seems like too much at once then you can run down the whole table and change each level so that you are getting an additional 50 talent points over the course of leveling, that's how many is necessary to fully upgrade all of the abilities with this mod.

If there are any issues just submit a bug report and I'll look into it.

I'll also not swap powers out. You're more than welcome to make them yourself and reupload the mod to the NEXUS but just credit me.

Thanks! ENJOY THE MOD!
