You know, since the mod pop-up in my search and I've read the description, I couldn't STOP noticing the vignette on the screen.
    It was driving me crazy.

Don't ask why, because it never bothered me before in the OT. 🤣🤣🤣

Downloaded and installed, thanks a lot for your work Mgamerz, can't thank you enough for still supporting ME series.

And those of you asking, yes, as of 2024 this mod is still working.

Can anyone confirm if this still works in 2023?

Weird one but the mod isn't showing up in modlist in ME3Tweaks anymore. Still working though.

[edit] NM. I'm a tard. I pulled a Skyrim and tried to install the LE for the OG version of ME.

This was immensely useful for ME1 & ME2, but it's a shame that it's not easily removable in ME3. For example, while on the first mission on Mars, I noticed the vignette popping in and out during the dialogue scenes, especially when choosing an option in the dialogue wheel. I also noticed that it wasn't removed in the prologue cutscene, but I'm used to the baked-in vignettes in ME1 and ME2 so I wasn't too bothered by it. The vignette in the dialogue scenes were just annoyingly obtrusive. This is still a good mod and I hope there's a solution for it one day, but for now, I disabled this for ME3.

Doesn't seem to remove the vignette in ME3 during dialogue.

Seeing the same thing here.  Really, it's any time the game takes control of the camera away from the player.  Pay attention to the corners of the screen when click you on the interaction point to open the galaxy map.  Moderately annoying.

Thanks for the mod but it disabled the film grain from MELLO unfortunately.

Doesn't work. Spits "No compatible mods found in archive" - tried zipping and applying the ME2-specific fix, same error.

Edit: Was a mod manager issue. Restarting it fixed.

Is there a way to make this compatible with the Better Camera mod? It appears both mods use a modified SFXGame.pcc file.

They're mergemods so they'll work together.

Ah gotcha. I think my issue is actually with the Better Camera mod. Not sure what's going on, but thanks for the reply!

I second that. Would be amazing to remove it from that, I can even live with the aiming down sights thing but for it to switch back and forth in the same conversation, too much unfortunately. Works great on me1 and me2 though!

The mod was updated to fix tight aim. I did not see anything wrong with cutscenes however.

Here for example. It's the first mission "Priority: Mars"

I'll take a look. It seems there are some additional cameras that have to be adjusted. In LE1 they don't use the same camera system for example, which makes this not work all the time (and I can't edit it either!), hopefully that's not the case here.

Spent considerable effort trying to fix this. Haven't had any luck. It seems like vignette is baked into... something, but I'm not sure what, exactly. What's shown on screen has multiple layers, including things such as the camera's view, post processing, the UI overlay, etc. I've inspected the camera, which doesn't seem to have this. Force vignette off in a native mod I made for testing didn't make any different. I'm not really sure 'what' post processing setting is used, nor at what level. Will probably take some time to figure out.

After looking into this with some significant effort, it seems like the viewport shader changes when the camera mode is gone. When this shader is changed, the vignette is on, because it's baked directly into it, rather than as a configurable option. Sadly this means it won't be possible to remove through my methods, but maybe through something like reshade.

      Adding
      [SystemSettings]
      DepthOfField=False

to your GamerSettings.ini removes all vignettes from the conversations. The background blur is also gone then, so you have to decide which is more important to you.

Does your solution remove the vignettes during cutscenes problem?
