    So I'm confused do the changes make the Mattock fully automatic?

      No. It's still semi-auto.

    I like this, it’s a vast improvement for the weapons listed, at least for the player. It’s hard to see how much my squad benefits but honestly most weapon kills are made by me anyways

      Wonder if you (or anyone) could boost armor stats next. Most suck (except the collector armor and I wouldn’t be caught dead in that lol)

      I'm likely to leave armor to others. My versions of Shepard never wear anything not black with an N7 emblazoned on it!

      Haha I make half of my armors pink or white... xD Try the EGM armors mod. It should help.

    So I am halfway through the game, marksman rifle Viper was a blast shooting geth, Revenant actually hits stuff and is fun to use, and Mattock is top tier again... Just got enough money to get like ONE Spectre gun before Rannoch, so I'll prolly test the SMG next

    Would it be possible to make the Valkyrie full auto like most other assault rifles?  I'm asking because there is a mod that does just that for the original version of ME3, but I can't seem to replicate it through coalesced editing myself despite trying.  I'm either doing something wrong, or it's not possible in LE3 for...whatever reason.  So far I've managed to change the amount of shots per mag, and the amount of shots fired per burst, but I'd really prefer it to be full-auto.

    If it is possible, I'd very much appreciate if you could make it so!  Preferably with a 30 round mag (which I *have* been able to do).  It's supposed to be an improved version of the Avenger design, so I figure that makes sense.

      Well, semi-auto to auto is supposedly a matter of changing a property value or two, but I've not tried it so can't say from experience. I won't have time to tinker until later in the week but will let you know what I find.

      I would greatly appreciate that, because I have been trying to figure this out for a couple days and I'm clearly missing something.  Even if you can't find/do it, thank you for at least taking the time to look into it!

      There seems to be logic at play that doesn't respond to the settings we have access to identically even within the same outwardly similar set of objects. I haven't been able to get the Valkyrie converted to full auto.

    Finally, Carnifex and Locust are usable in ME3! Will you do something to Mattock? Right now it's OP in 2 but outclassed by a lot of rifles (including direct upgrade that is Harrier) in 3.

      I've been pretty happy with the Mattock but you got me thinking. Upcoming v1.01 additional notes, pending testing:

        M-96 Mattock (Rifle; ME2, ME3):

         16 round magazine x 4 -> 20 round magazine x 4 in ME2,
         16 round magazine x 6 -> 20 round magazine x 6 in ME3,
         improved accuracy and damage per shot in ME3

         Rationale:
         Analogous to extended or double stack magazines. For ME3, improvements developed for its fully automatic
         derivative *Cerberus Harrier* would naturally be incorporated in subsequent examples of the *M-96 Mattock*.

      That should do! Ammo size was a huge liability in 2. I know it was there to balance out the damage but on Insanity many missions just have you running out of ammo too fast (and playing as non-soldier class in ME2 meant you just switch to pistol).

      Will it affect enemies or only player version of the gun? Cause heavier Cerberus troops carry Mattocks in the third game.

      NPCs don't run out of ammo, so the changes there are moot. They do a percentage of the damage a PC does, but a modest change to benefit a player shouldn't be a game changer (literally).

      I just wonder if the upgraded damage per shot will have the swarms on Grissom Academy hit even harder.

      I noticed that in ME2 Insanity became harder with upgraded weapons (not your mod, an earlier one), I liked it though! And yeah, modding generally makes the game easier because we increase convenience for the player so AI getting a fraction of that power only compensates on you being even stronger.

      Just started ME3LE, will test your mod and provide feedback if there's anything else to say. Thanks for your work!

      I note that there are AI specific versions of the Mattock and several other weapons, though I haven't gleaned if they're universally used for non-squad NPCs. My changes wouldn't effect those alternate versions. Let me know what you find in your usage of the mod!

      I just passed Palaven and jumped on Cerberus lab to grab money, will take a first shopping trip to Citadel and a stop at Grissom for weapons soon. Vindicator does seem less useless now but haven't had a chance to try other weapons. I forgot that you changed Viper, I always wanted a semi-auto sniper that isn't a peashooter. I'll try it too next time I play.
