This mod is still under development and may not be 100% functional. Please leave me feedback if you find any aspects to be lacking.

Description:

This mod for ME1 LE removes mouse acceleration from the game. This mod modifies the mouse input script to disable acceleration, as well as disabling the bEnableMouseSmoothing and/or the bUseMouseDampening option.

Compatibility:
This mod should be compatible with nearly all LE1 mods as it uses the new merge format to make edits. Any ini edits that modify the two flags listed above will not take effect with this mod installed. This mod is compatible with all Coalesced.bin edits.

Known Issues:
There appears to be a large gap between UI mouse sensitivity and gameplay mouse sensitivity with mouse dampening disabled. I am investigating a potential fix.

Installation:

You must install this mod with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager version 7.0 or above. Manual installation is not possible, and lower versions of the mod manager will not work. Drag and drop the .7z file into the Mod Manager window. Import, and then install the mod. You will be prompted to select an option upon installation.

You can install the mod again to re-apply, change options, or uninstall. This mod should be able to be installed at any time, including after texture mods.

Uninstallation:
The proper way to uninstall this mod is to restore your LE1 Engine.pcc file from a backup. If you would simply like to reverse any of the
changes applied by this mod, install the mod again through the mod manager and select the "Re-enable Mouse Acceleration" option. This will leave any other changes to Engine.pcc intact.

Credits:
  • Thanks to Keegan in the ME3Tweaks Discord server for testing the mod.
  • Special thanks to Mgamerz for designing the merge format.

Technical Info:
  • This mod does not ship as a DLC mod, so there is no mount priority.
  • This mod alters the PlayerInput function and bEnableMouseSmoothing properties in Engine.pcc, and the bUseMouseDampening property in SFXGame.pcc
