Changelog 10/06/21: Initial release. ME3 version in the works. 10/06/21: Uploaded the source textures with the file by accident. Removed it from download to reduce file size. 11/06/21: ME3 Version is now up. Enjoy gerls.
From this very limited information I would say you need to keep the alpha channel and transparency exactly the way it is. In ME2 a lot of armours are hard to retexture because you can't actually see what you're drawing on.
I downloaded your armor and unpacked it and I can barely see the Diff Texture. Now mine you can see the complete texture, the ones I have modded. The ones that I modded are grey and Shiny, The armors or casual are grey and very shiny when I apply them. I will give you these armor and you can take credit for them. I modded the Inferno, Terminus, and all Cerberus armor as well as N7 armors. I am using The Paint Program. Plus usually you can use the modds from 3 for 2 and vise versa.
You have to make the diffuse texture as transparent as it was when you extracted it from ME2. Just like mine. The ME3 Ajax Armour diffuse texture is not compatible with the ME2 version.
Thank you so much for this. Would it be possible for you to upload the default textures for this as an optional mod so we have some way of "uninstalling" this mod? Either way thanks again.
The mod manager states that my game needs to be in it's vanilla state. It errors out when I try to proceed because I'm assuming it detects other mods I have installed.
Will I be able to run other mods if I install this, or do I just need to return the game to its vanilla state, run the scan and reinstall all my previous mods?
mem requires a completely vanilla game to get started. Once it does that initial setup then you can install as many mods as you want. So yes you have to return the game to vanilla and then you can install all the mods you want.
