I haven't made it to Mass Effect 3 in my Legendary playthrough but I loaded up some OT ME3 saves to test out and implement this mod asap for those who are in ME3 or soon will be, this is my first time making a .mem type mod so please let me know how it works for you!
Edit : Getting a lot of requests, I'm considering some but I make no promises!
Hi I want to ask how i can open up the texture and edit it myself on photoshop? Im not too familiar with .mem files.
In fallout new vegas/4 i just extract .dds texture files and edit via photoshop. then save it back...here it seems complicated. I like this mod, however i want it to match james and kaidan's colour tones abit more (https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/39) abit more grimy and dirty
I think it's the mass effect font of the Normandy text and the O and D look similar, it's Cdr. just like it shows at character creation when you make a new character in MELE1
Hey, are you using the English version of the game? I don't know if it's required but I'm trying to narrow the problem down. Also please make sure you're using at least as new as Mass Effect Modder v503 with the June 7th Mass Effect Legendary Edition patch. If that's not the problem, go into 'Mass Effect Modder -> Mass Effect 3 -> Change Game Path' and direct it to your Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition's masseffect3.exe file at (...\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\Binaries\Win64). I've never seen that error before so I'm not sure what to do if that doesn't help
Ah I forgot to change game path, no wonder I have an error. Its ok now, the mod is properly installed now. I just need to reach citadel dlc and get the armor to see if its working. tnx for the fast reply :)
My game is english and latest patch and im using modder v503
Oh this mod isn't for Citadel DLC armors, this Ajax Armor comes from the Alternate Apperance Pack 1 which I believe means you always have it in Mass Effect 3 but I'm not certain
On the cutscenes, if you're on the option of turning off the helmet during conversation, does it remove the helmet? Because Shep's voice is different during those cutscenes. Awesome mod, btw!
Edit: works fine if the option is "default on" or off in conversations.
Also, I noticed, while an absolute awesome mod, the glass on the helmet for the eyes (not sure what it's called, visor?) is see through and without any eyes or face models when Shep is looking left or right, especially with a light background behind him.
Weirdly enough I've never noticed that issue and unfortunately wouldn't be sure how to even go about fixing it. Could you reply with a screenshot or two of the problem?
Edit: Ah I think I see what you mean in my v1.4 helmet change photo, this is something that happens in the base game too not just the mod, I have no idea how to add a face in though, I just do texture mods for the most part
Yeah, sorry I never tested the vanilla Cerberus armor, but I can confirm as well that this is the default texture for the helmet in game. Hope they do fix this in future patches! Still, it's just certain cinematics in game, still a damn awesome mod! Thanks!
This retexture is SOOO clean! I especially love the ID tag on the left shoulder! I'm not sure if you know how to do this or if it's even possible, but is there a way to make the visor on the helmet transparent so we can see our Shepard's face through it like the default N7 helmet? Alternatively, is there a way to replace the mesh of the helmet with the N7 helmet that isn't fully sealed?
The only other suggestion I have is maybe adding an Alliance logo on the forehead part of the helmet. I really liked how the default textures for this armor set had a little Cerberus logo there. Excellent work here regardless! It's very awesome to have my Shepards in Alliance colors to match the Normandy and my squadmates' outfits!
Hey I have no idea how to mess with the visor or change helmets as this is just a texture mod, also I tried years ago to make an Alliance logo on the helmet of this mod but the problem is that down the center of the helmet the image is mirrored, which isn't a problem for a Cerberus logo that's the same on both sides but became a pain every way I tried to make the Alliance logo work because the top of the center star and the space between the two alliance symbol's arches doesn't line up properly so it would mirror improperly at one or the other every time, leading me to eventually give up on that idea

What is "Cor."? Shepard's rank is commander... :)
Anyway, the armor is nice, saved for the upcoming playthrough!
I love your N7 version of this armor. Would it be possible for you to make an HD texture for the T5-V Battlesuit and N7 Classic Armor from this mod :

Thanks so much for this - Running around dressed as a Cerberus soldier while being at war and NOBODY even commenting with them was doing my head in.
