OVERVIEW:
This mod offer various options to change auto cover system for Shepard:
-8 versions with changes (for people who are sick of getting cover when they don't want and/or have problems with getting into cover ).
-and also quite drastic version what turns off completely Auto-cover and totally say goodbye to get into cover for you (no cover button in Mass Effect 1 ).

This mod wasn’t vigorously tested (no full playthrough yet ) but I checked in some locations and it worked flawless.

CHOOSE VERSION:
4 versions are for reducing stickiness, 2 versions are changes for going in cover easier and other two combines both (reduced stickiness + going in cover easier ). Every player may play differently so perceiving into going cover is different and so you may want different changes.

PRECISE INFO HOW THAT WORK EXACTLY (I am not native English speaker so sorry if some things aren't easy to understand - also looking at pictures can help ):
FIXED STICKINESS - this is make for people who feel that sometimes cover not work well when they want go to cover.
1. fixed normal - max camera (where you looking ) angle to get in cover much bigger.
2. fixed changed - camera angle bigger but less than above version. sideway angle to go in cover (going sideway value determine in what max angle will get you in cover when you going sideway into wall/object - at default is 60 degree ) reduced about 33,3% so it have sideway stickiness reduced.
MODIFIED STICKINESS - I recommend this for people what feel that sometimes is not easy to get in cover and in other times you are drag into cover when don't want to. This should reduce such situations. These are similar to FIXED STICKINESS but added change for distance from what you are pull to cover (at default you are pulled into cover from near half meter away ).
3. modified normal - camera angle bigger (but smaller than "Fixed Changed" ). sideway angle not changed. distance from wall to get in cover reduced about 25%.
4. modified changed - camera angle smaller than "Modified normal" but somewhat bigger than default. value sideways reduced about 33,3% (so it is 40 degree ) so it have sideway stickiness reduced. distance from wall/object reduced to 31,25% comparing to default.
REDUCED STICKINESS - for people who have problem only with been pulled into cover when they don't want to.
5. reduced normal - when you move forward and aiming - the angle is pretty the same like in default game. reduced is the sideway angle - when you running sideway the angle have been reduced for half. distance reduced near half (now pretty much you must touch wall/object to get in cover - in default game you was dragged to cover from near half meter away from object/wall ). Sideway angle is half less (in default game you could run sideways in 60 angle to get in cover ) so situation when you where going forward when holding left or right now not get you in cover from such wide angle - now your body must be more in direction to cover to get in. This one is recommend for first try - below versions try only if this one not satisfy you with reduction of stickiness.
6. reduced more - bigger reductions and now angle for camera position is reduced. This may be not causal gamers friendly.
7. reduced strongly - this is rather for hardcore players only - angle for camera is reduced significantly. With that change that was possible reduce distance and sideway even more (but for not big amounts ).
8. reduced extreme - masochist version - you must have near perfect forward camera position to get in cover. Main benefits of this version are that is quite near impossible to get in cover unless you directly run into object/wall aiming forward. With that change that was also possible reduce distance for small amount more. I recommend check other versions first as probably this one not be needed.
