About this mod

Have you ever wished Shepard would slow down, take a breath, and just smell the roses instead of rushing headlong through every hub and mission? Well now they can! Take in the sights and sounds, and when you are ready, you can even resume running at a quicker pace than before!

This mod allows Shepard to slow down and "smell the roses" with the push of a button. Mapped to the Middle Mouse Button. Tap Ctrl in LE2 & LE3 while holding MMB to resume running, but a bit faster than default! Tap default walk toggle button (Or whatever button you have mapped) in LE1 to toggle between walking and running, while holding MMB.

This mod is incompatible with my Pepper Step mod. It is totally incompatible with anything that replaces the Coalesced_INT.bin file. This is ONLY true for the LE1 version. The other ones are very compatible, but may conflict with anything that introduces Middle Mouse Button key binding. If you have MMB mapped to anything else in game, you will have to change that mapping before this mod will work. OR you can request a version with a specific key, or you can make the changes yourself.

In LE1, I remapped the Change Zoom button to the "B" key.
In LE2, I remapped the Vehicle Camera Toggle button to the "T" key.
In LE3, I remapped the Cover Turn button to the "Left Alt" key.

Known Issues:
This mod appears to cause ambient dialogue to get cut short in LE1. This is likely due to an issue with some of the code, which is tied to the engine. You may notice ambient dialogue getting cut short while using MMB to walk. With this in mind, you may want to keep to normal jogging in areas where you want to catch all the ambient dialogue.

Installation:
  • Download and Install ME3Tweaks Mod Manager.
  • Backup all your Mass Effect Games, using the ME3 Tweaks Mod Manager.
  • Download the Mod and drag the file onto the Mod Manager, or set ME3 to handle downloads and just download with mod manager.
  • Import the Mod and then press "Apply Mod".

Uninstall for Mass Effect 1:
  • In the Mod Manager, select Manage Target -> Modified basegame files
  • Find the line "BioGame\CookedPCConsole\Coalesced_INT.bin" and press Restore.

I want to thank munchfly, RepugnantPear, and Mgamerz for all of the patient help and instruction they gave me as I am learning the basics of modding Mass Effect Legendary.
