Patch 1.3.1

Patch 1.3.1 is a minor update to LE3 Diversification Project. Here is a breakdown of what is included:

New Meshes

Thanks to Mith and NaNuke, all c-sec officers will have radios of the same design. The original mesh comes from the radio that human c-sec wear in Mass Effect 1, and it was reshaped to fit salarian as well as both female and male turian heads. These have been rolled out across the Citadel, but not yet added to the Citadel Coup. Mith has also edited Jacob's outfit to fit the proportions of drell and made it so the textures are tintable, meaning that we can have more diverse outfits for drell in the game.

Additionally, Mith has provided me with new turian military radios based upon Garrus' radio in ME2. These have been given to a select few turian soldiers on Palaven, primary among them is General Corinthus. An image of this new look is found below:

Texture Fixes

Unfortunately there were a number of texture issues ranging from quite minor to major. I corrected some turian helmets that were accidentally linked to the Take Earth Back tfc file, which caused them not to load correctly for some users. Additionally, I corrected the turian female head textures in many files.

Bug Fixes

A few bugs were fixed. These were:

  • Asari receptionist in the hanar embassy is no longer sitting on thin air, she has a nice chair now
  • You can no longer fall through the wall in the underwater embassy
  • Streaming changes have ensured that no more AA guns on Palaven will be floating in mid air
  • Jondum Bau won't appear on the map until after the coup

    Patch 1.3.0 is a major update to LE3 Diversification Project. Here is a breakdown of what is included:

    Hanar Embassy

    After far too many years, the new Citadel: Hanar Embassy mission has finally been released! Meet up with the Spectre Jondum Bau and the master thief Kasumi Goto to hunt down clues about an indoctrinated hanar. This mission is non-combat, and relies upon solving some simple puzzles to piece together the identity of this hanar traitor. This new mission includes new datapads that tie in to cut content for Mass Effect 1 and ME2 lore, side character easter eggs, a new Avina conversation, new kasumi dialogue (including her comments about Jacob after a breakup with him) a lootable hanar model ship and the first underwater zone on the Citadel!

    Be warned, this mission is now received after the Citadel Coup.

    I want to thank Pauju for providing so much help and support on the embassy to get it over the finish line. The new ambient dialogue, a good chunk of the new puzzles and the opening cutscene are all down to him. He's a legend.

    Citadel Embassy Overhaul

    Phase 3 of the Citadel Embassy has undergone a major overhaul. It is now split into three sub-phases; coup aftermath, c-sec investigation and post-Thessia. The composition of NPCs will change with each phase. For example, the immediate aftermath of the coup sees doctors treating wounds, c-sec officers making arrests and gathering evidence of murders committed by Cerberus in their coup.

    Additionally, during the pre-coup section of the game, c-sec will change based around your decision in the Battle of the Citadel in Mass Effect 1. If you spared the Council, then c-sec will not be armed and will be a lot more relaxed, but if the Council died, you'll find that the human council armed up c-sec.

    Datapads

    Brand new datapads have been written for Citadel: Hanar Embassy, Namakli: Leviathan, Omega DLC, and Arrae: Ex-Cerberus Scientists. These vary from obscure lore tie-ins to a bit of flavour when exploring.

    Character Changes

    As part of my gradual porting of the Character Consistency Project into LE3 Diversification Project, I have ported over one more character - Kirrahe. His face, skin and armour will now match what they looked like in Mass Effect 1, and how he looks in the ME3 GUI images. Additionally, several other character edits have been made, including:

    Sarah Williams; Ashley's younger sister now has skin, eye colour and hair colour that is closer to Ashley, which helps make them look more like they are sisters. Additionally, she is wearing a new outfit made by Zebbros based on ME concept art, and will have tears running down her cheeks during the cutscene.
    "Amnesia" Woman; she is no longer wearing the new standard embassy worker dress
    "Mom Papers;" the human soldier trying to send her daughter to live on Thessia is now wearing Alliance armour.
    Jondum Bau & Kasumi Goto; both will wear breather units when in the underwater Hanar Embassy.

    Bug Fixes

    And last but not least, a large amount of bug fixes, ranging from missing heads to duplicate NPCs.

    Patch 1.2.8 is a bugfix update to LE3 Diversification Project. Here is a breakdown of what is included:

    Zaeed

    The conversation overhaul for Zaeed has had a small bug fix so that it accurately sets plot bool 22159 to true the first time you speak to him in the Refugee Area. This was causing an issue for Expanded Galaxy Mod users.

    Patch 1.2.7 is a rather small update to LE3 Diversification Project. Here is a breakdown of what is included:

    Bailey & Executor Pallin

    Following the release of Marcus22Khaar's Fate of Executor Pallin LE2 and the restored Executor Pallin death by Audemus in LE1 Diversification Project, I've adjusted Commander Bailey's dialogue so that if you import a save from these mods he will not speak about killing Pallin during an investigation on behalf of Councilor Udina. Only one line is skipped so players will not lose much from the vanilla experience, but the story will accurately reflect what you've imported from LE1/2.

    It must be noted that any save from before these mods are used will retain the original dialogue about Executor Pallin dying. I'm afraid there's little I can do to change that.

    Phase 1 Ambient Overhaul

    The Phase 1 Ambient Overhaul has been fully translated, with french, german and italian language fully available to hear.

    Character Consistency

    As part of my gradual porting of the Character Consistency Project into LE3 Diversification Project, I have ported four more characters LE2 outfits over into LE3. These are the four:
