Hello, thank you for all your hard work to make a great new experience! Using your library of weapon/powers/class/profile mods and all are working except one thing. The profiles that max at 231 aren't upgrading to rank 6. I know you posted in the description that you changed those profiles to max out the rank at 231 instead, but it's still locking me to rank 5.
Pretty sure I have the correct mod order: 1. Weapon Overhaul 2. Power Overhaul 3. Power Overhaul Addon - Loyalty Requirement 4. Class Locked Skills - Power Overhaul 5. Profiles Reworked.
I've changed the order of Profiles Reworked among that list, but still a no go.
Any ideas or other information I could provide to help answer the question?
You rock, dude. I appreciate you taking the time to look over your work on account of some rando having a problem. This will be my 3rd playthrough and it's been since 2021. I want to get that Insanity achievement and I figured I'd do it with some style this time around.
Off topic: I'm probably going to get distracted looking up what to use for making mods with Frosty, because I personally think the classes should have at least pistols, unless you can convince me otherwise! LOL I'm also very curious to figure out how some powers say "Unknown" whereas the ones on the bottom list the trait name and notify you to pick a different class. Love figuring that stuff out.
Very basic question: Does the Explorer use biotics to jump by default? I thought they use jetpacks instead - or in other words: does the Biotic Blink ability also make jumps biotic? Sorry for my ignorance, I haven't unlocked these profiles yet and cannot test myself.
Sentinel tech armor is kinda shitty now that the other damage reduction bonuses have been beefed so much up. Soldier used to have at best 12, now vanguard and explorer have 45, while sentinel still have the old 30 tech armor. 50 would be nice.
True. I've increased the damage reduction to 50, but have changed it to only be active while shields are above 10%. That is closer to how it works in ME2/3, and more interesting to play with instead of just a flat bonus.
Any chance you can bring back and buff the soldier's DR? The absurd tankiness you could get from a Soldier in ME1 is something I've missed in the games since then.
Okay this mod is awesome. I love the use of biotics to evade and jump, it makes it feel like biotics are actually being fully used. In the original trilogy it feels cool you can use biotics but you never it feels integrated like this. I jumped and evaded with biotics for 5 minutes when I first realized it was possible because it feels so natural and fun. Now every time I play as a biotic in LE, I am going to have an empty hole.
Why did you eliminated the biotic power recharge from vanguard? Vanguard main power is charge and you want that to recharge as fast as possible! that is how you get into the fire and out quickly, if you are not in the middle of the battel you are not a Vanguard.
I know this is an old post, but I'm necro-ing this just in case other people have the same question.
Many vanguards use the adrenaline fusion mod that makes recharge time useless. For those players, they will appreciate the other stats more. Also, there are diminishing returns with stacking recharge speed.
That being said, if you use the same author's "power overhaul" mod, the base cooldown of charge is reduced from 8s to 7s, which makes a big difference. If I stack biotic recharge speed on every available armor/weapon augment slot, and use the rapid deployment fusion mod, the cooldown is fast enough that I can charge, make 1 attack with asari sword, then charge again with no delay.
Very interested in using the mod, but was wanting to tweak Vanguard so that instead of a bonus to shotgun it gave a bonus to CD reduction. I am attempting to do this on my own using the Frosty editor, but am having little luck. I am not very used to modding in general, any assistance would be amazing.

EDIT: Seems there was some issue with the BETA versions of Frosty. Made the edits and exported with no issue on 1.0.5.9 Thanks for the help!
trying to change the explorer exp bonus to smth more useful but uhhh the stat value it directs to are in weapon index 45 which doesnt exist? the profilestats file only has 42(0-41) weapon indexes, when exporting the file as an xml i can see all the missing indexes but then i cant import them back in
what to do?
edit: so just renaming it to .bin does the trick? weird
edit2: nvm again frosty editor crashes when trying to export to mod, seems to happen even if nothing is changed(using latest frosty, 1.0.6 BETA so could be an issue of not being compatible?)

Which mod are you using exactly from "Replace Profiles with Classes", and which profile?

Do that for Vanguard profiles 1-6.
