Hello It is not my intention to offend or argue with anybody, but personally I think that the intro which appears literally for a few seconds ... is credit that belongs to the game developers for making this great game. The team devoted a few years to making this game ... I think it's possible to devote a few seconds to NOT erase their work. That is only my opinion.
The people behind the game are no secret to anybody. The players looking into modding definitely saw that screen before. Not making it skippable is what fuels the need for mods like this.
How could you possibly see it as erasure of the developer's work? It's just a logo that's overstaying its welcome after you see it countless times. Their work is the game itself.
The mod that reduces the landing/departure times and intro skips save an impressive amount of time. Time people are willing to put into the very work you wanted to honor so much.(playing the game and not being stuck in excessive, unskippable content)
This post may be a year old, but I respectfully disagree that these three logos give any credit to the people who designed Mass Effect Andromeda.
All I see being credited are the publisher (EA), the publisher's subsidiary (BioWare), and the publisher's proprietary engine (Frostbite). Not the actual people who crunched hard to finish this game only for many of them to lose their jobs afterwards.
BioWare Montreal was the lead developer of ME:A and was closed because of Andromeda's poor reception. The intro does not even say BioWare Montreal, just the much more generic BioWare.
Dude, i understand what you're talking about. But do you know what have i done when decided to support devs? I bought the game on steam (tried a pirate version to be sure it's worth of my money) and then wrote a good reply under the game there, that's how you support people, not looking at the annoying logo every bioware fan knows as their five fingers :P
