About this mod

(As of patch 1.08, changing complexion is now a feature of the game, and mods are no longer required) This takes the face textures, normal maps, etc. from female preset 1, and puts them on female preset 5.

- Important Note -

The 1.08 patch has invalidated this mod. You can now select which complexion you would like your character to have in the character creator, and there is a "Facial Reconstruction Suite" station in the med bay on the Tempest where you can change your face, complexion, hair, makeup, etc. whenever you want to. Here is a screenshot showing where the station is located (walk into the med bay and turn to the left to find it):

Original Mod Description:

This is an attempt to make female preset 5 look nicer by trying to replace the face/head textures, normal maps, etc. from female preset 5 with the ones from female preset 1.

This mod requires Frosty Mod Manager in order to be installed (note that Frosty Mod Manager is not compatible with MEAExplorerWV):

The idea for this came from the work done by Atherisz in a mini-mod available in the Misc. downloads for his Romance For All mod, and I created this since he has yet to update his female complexion mods for Frosty Mod Manager:

Note: This is not a copy-and-paste of Atherisz's mod. His mod helped me figure out the paths to the textures, but I did the rest of the work myself (not that there was much work involved in saving a few textures and then opening them again in the mod editor). More textures were replaced in this mod as well, however I don't think I noticed any real difference in-game (possibly due to poor lighting on the Tempest when I tested).

Regarding sharing/redistribution of my mods:
I don't mind sharing or redistributing the file, however I would appreciate a link back to the mod's page at NexusMods so that people know where the mod came from, and can easily check for new versions.
