Great set Rick, I'm sharing these with my friend at work who plays on a console. The close ups are really good!

      Thank you kindly, Patrick!

It's very difficult to just play the game now that I know about the Ansel tool, so you and your friend can probably expect a few more batches from this game!

I will try to keep the first playthrough less "pausing" though, but I will obviously get back for some more intense screenshooting down the road. It's a very beautiful game and I'm still curious about some of the effects provided by reshades I've seen...

      Thanks a lot, Quinten!

I read your reply here before you turned it into a link (and I've read your review there as well), so I know all about your feelings for MEA. I can understand a lot of it, but I also feel this game gives me pretty much what I anticipated myself. To me it was always about being the Pathfinder and explore unknown worlds. The story is more like a bonus - and that said says a lot since it's Bioware we're talking about.
Mass Effect has been a brilliant game ever since the first installment and perhaps that's the reason to why I like MEA as well. It feels like an upgraded version of the first in Shepard's story (well, without the story ironically). I remember how I used to wish there were more detailed worlds to discover with the Nomad in the first Mass Effect, and here I get to do that. If there's anything I would say fails me a bit, it's the fact I wished there were more alien species and cultures, more worlds to set out on for exploring. I would've loved if the scanning of planets would give us "hidden" worlds to discover so to speak, but that's wishful thinking. All and all though, I'm pretty comfortable with MEA and I feel it delivers, especially under the circumstances of my own expectations...

The character creation is horrible though, but like we've said before, that's not too surprising when it comes to Bioware...

I'm glad you felt the money was well spent though and yes, this will make for another great world when off for some screenshooting. The story was more or less doomed to be more meh... I mean, it's quite difficult to top the Shepard story. Oh, and you're absolutely right about the fighting in MEA. By far the most intense and vivid battles in the ME genre...

    Your Whiterun looks amazing!

    Wait! Wrong game!

I love the outside visuals for Andromeda, really wish some other things where better, but I hope some of that gets taken care of with mods if those will be possible.

I will be remembered for my Whiterun shots in autumn colors for a long time I presume!

Yeah, taking a break from Skyrim since the release of Andromeda. I've been a fan of the whole Mass Effect-serie since the beginning, so I kind of like how this one turned out. It's a flirt with some of the old - even from the original Mass Effect - as well as some new adaptions. I was a bit hesitating at first, but now I've completely surrendered (pretty much the same reaction I had with DAI and MEA is very much built upon the same print)...

There are always stuff to improve or do differently when some of the most beloved games make a return, but I must say I'm purely in joy of just visiting this universe again. The lore, the story, the characters and the exploring always does it for me when it comes to Bioware...
