I would like to report an issue with the Asari NPCs Remastered mod. For some reason it crashes my game during the cutscene between the first mission "Priority Mars: Prothean Archives" and the second mission"Priority: The Citadel I"
Any idea why?
FYI, I loaded a previous backup of my game installation (without this mod) and there is no issue. Once I install this mod the game crashes at said segment.
I love that mod, I really wanted to use it with Liara. It doesn't work with the bonus powers mod though and I love annihilation field too much to give it up.
Anyway, if you use the casual outfit with my remasters then only the head will be retextured. From the neck down will be vanilla still.
I love it too! Like a real doctor outfit! I read in the comments all you have to do is change the mount priority for Casual Liara with the Mod Manager, as it's the same number as BPP2. I just started the game again so i havent checked if it works though.
And yeah that sucks i have to choose. :( Any way you can make a separate Liara retexture like you have with Samara and Aria outfits?
So i found some drawbacks to using the Casual Liara mod. One is in the standard version there's a visible neck seam, I dont know if that's something you can smooth out?
In the Necklace version there's no seam, but it messes up her armor in the Mars level (deleting BioH_Liara_00.pcc fixes it) and her coat is seethrough from the inside, but not from the outside. (https://imgur.com/a/HUvwlkb) Too bad the modder seems to be gone. Great mod otherwise.
Maybe it's just me, but textures from Casual Liara mod are really weird. First of all, they won't even scan with MEM, unless I swap Textures_DLC_CON_LIAC.tfc and CustTextures0.tfc. When I do it, I can see that ASA_ARM_LIAa_Diff/Spec/Norm are divided by half, one half contains textures for that casual outfit, and second half for normal one. Whole texture is 4096x4096 already so I don't think you can make it much better.
No problem. When I have to do something with textures (replacing, extracting etc.), I usually copy relevant files to ME3 copy with only basic folder structure and all TFCs. It makes tree more clear, and scanning takes only few seconds so I can re-scan the tree at any moment.
So i read her readme file, and apparently the outfit is textures from other games, Dreamfall Chapters and something called Rise of the Triad. That's interesting, it's not even from Mass Effect! https://www.nexusmods.com/Core/Libs/Common/Widgets/DownloadPopUp?id=1300&game_id=208&source=FileExpander
I agree, I love Casual Liara so it'd be a dream come true for me too, lol. I'll do my best with her though, she's about 90% done now but I haven't tested in game yet so I may have tweaks and stuff to do. I decided to not only do the skin, but re-texture all of the clothes. So I'm hoping it turns out good.
Salarians also are probably 85-90% done. I need to adjust the colors on Mordin some more and finish some of the add-on files like the scales and markings and all that.
Benezia is up there as well, I've re-done her face, I just need to add the new scales on. MaryseDynasty had told me before she waned to make a Benezia dress retex, so I may wait and release them all at once. If I don't, the dress will just be vanilla and I'll only retexture all of the skin. We'll see though.
Holy s#*!, this is happening! And here I thought Liara couldn't become more atractive lol. Bluejay my friend, because of you I will never again see the Asari the same way without your textures. Take that as a compliment!
hello BlueJay sorry for asking this here but yesterday I wanted to download your modification of krogans in 4k and I realized that the elminate, I wanted to ask you if that decision is permanent or if you plan to do something in the future with those textures. PS: I love your textures

I was wondering how that works with your retextures, or if it even does. Will Liara still be "Remastered"? :)

I know the modder uploaded the resource files as well, but i dont know if that's what you need. It's the version just called LiaraCasual
