A complete retexture for my fav shotgun in Me3 : The unpopular Graal Spike Thrower ! Because take mo***erf**ing burning spikes in the head !

BLACKOPS MODS

"BlackOps" Retexturing is a theme i decided to embrace for most of my ME3 mods. The spirit is : sobriety, class, tactical features, stealth/dark, "realism" in a way and no "power rangers" multi-color anymore. If your eyes love it, you might found other mods i did on the same theme by writing BlackOps in the research bar.

DESCRIPTION

Now let's do one shotgun ! but not a boring one ... i call the Graal Spike Thrower ! So I spent real much time to do this one, because this shotgun existence in the game alone kinda forced me to start over a first time. You may not be used to it yet, but trust me, try it !!! this baby is amazing at so many level and add a really fun "charge your shot before you shoot" gameplay to the game.

Remember the more you charge your next shot, the more the spikes will be accurate and grouped, meaning deadly to your target. Full charged, You can even snipe small targets mid-range (with the good weapon mod that add even more acc). The best point is the tremendous damage this weapon can do with a single full charged shot ! It actually saved me many times in harder difficulties of solo mode.

See the poor target empaled with 8 burning steel spikes and be put down in fire is priceless :p I wish all the fps games think to fun weapons like this.

Beside the usual BlackOps retexture work and the huge "texture" cleaning (damn these krogans are messy with their tools !), I added "burned metal" tones all over the moving parts & barrel, thus giving a more realistic heat effect when the weapon is charging the shot. i Hope you will enjoy that specific point !

WARNING

If you have EGM installed, I recently noticed you can get incompatibilities with my mods and that one. Not my bad and im sorry for you, i can't do anything about it. Reason is EGM use some of textures from its own texture dlc database.  


CONTENT SUMMED UP

-Complete new colors arrangements (Dark grey & white stripes theme of mine)
-Removing old patterns, weariness, dirt, krogan shit, markings.
-Renoving some texture & screws.
-Multiples tones of different steel to gain a more realistic aspect.
-Removing gloss glossy gloss everywhere 
-Bouncy light lowered on steel parts
-Bouncy light almost canceled on handle & weapon shell
-New White Paint patterns to match my other weapon mods
-New factory name & Serial number
-Dark tones balanced
-Sharper led light
-New heated tones on moving parts + barrel.

INSTALLATION TIPS (MANUAL ONLY)

Sorry if i don't give you any other way than a TPF installation. Lucky me ME3explorer evolved well and it's just a texture update we are doing here !

0 : Download one of my files and completly shut down your game.
1 : Take the last complete version of ME3explorer, install it & run it.
2 : Hit the green "TPF tool" (you might have to go for a Tex ride if there is no tree yet).
3 : now load my file : Load > xxxxxxxxxx.tpf (wherever you put it).
4 : Hit the "Install Valid" button & wait full process.
5 : Close & now just to be sure, go for an "Autotoc & generate all tocs" ride (another tool).

6 : ENJOY PLEASE !
