QUIETVISORS MODS

Speaking Me3 with some friends, we laughed few time about it, but the more i was playing looking at these turned on visor during discussions, the more it became a strong immersion turn-off for me. May be i suppose there are some guys around here tilting about that too.

I mean, don't you ever felt kinda pissed off when you use to see garrus having informations displaying on his visor while he is talking to you ? Does he even listen or faint to and watch some Turian porn ?

Well fear not anymore, i am making a set of 3 "Quiet visors" mods that remove these informations displaying/passing by, either by turning the writings off or the whole device's display (depending when it's possible without hard editing game code, or when it's too ugly to shut it totally)

DESCRIPTION

Shepard is ofc is the second victim of visor addiction, but she does that only during missions, still we must stop this madness and help her ! or him btw ! I think you will really enjoy this very simple mod ... making you forget these (let's say it) ugly non-sense pixelated writings.

For this Mnemonic visor, i wanted to keep the blue holographic screen turned on, and unlike for sentry one ... i succeeded ! So you still have that blue glass cyborg (or ski lol) visor. It's now pretty badass imo !

I also tweaked a lot of colors (frontal metal stripe, temple & ear pads) and removed the mutiple "dot" light array that hammer my sense of aesthetics. It's a matter of taste but that's how i like it so you have no choice ! I created a new one instead : larger, rectangular shape, on cheek location. Notice that it will still be lit in the color you chose for your armor lights.

CONTENT SUMMED UP

- Definitly shutting off all Mnemonic visor holographic displaying infos (N7 armor) & still keeping the "blue glass frame"
- Shutting off and removing the (imo) ugly led dots on ear/cheeks pads and behind the skull.
- Adding a whole new rectangular led on ear pad's edges.
- Slightly putting the tones more like the rest of the N7 armor (some materials were too light, other too dark)
- Swapping some colors (the ear pad is now your color armor instead of chrome/light metal and the temple pad is now chome instead of your color armor)
- Giving a slight more precision on some details (delimitation between materials)

INSTALLATION TIPS (MANUAL ONLY)

Sorry if i don't give you any other way than a TPF installation. Lucky me ME3explorer evolved well and it's just a texture update we are doing here !

0 : Download one of my files and completly shut down your game.
1 : Take the last complete version of ME3explorer, install it & run it.
2 : Hit the green "TPF tool" (you might have to go for a Tex ride if there is no tree yet).
3 : now load my file : Load > xxxxxxxxxx.tpf (wherever you put it).
4 : Hit the "Install Valid" button & wait full process.
5 : Close & now just to be sure, go for an "Autotoc & generate all tocs" ride (another tool).

6 : ENJOY PLEASE !
