Mass Effect 3 Custom reshade preset by akalankarox
installing guide.
1. extract the contents of this .zip file to where mass effect 3.exe file is located. ( example :- D:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32 )
now we have to do little correcting things first. everybody's install locations are different so you have to manually put the correct paths. here is how you do it.
2. open d3d9.ini file in any text editor you have. (could be notepad or notepad++)
3. provide correct paths to EffectSearchPaths, TextureSearchPaths, ScreenshotPath and PresetFiles.
example :- EffectSearchPaths=D:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\reshade-shaders\Shaders
TextureSearchPaths=D:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\reshade-shaders\Textures
ScreenshotPath=D:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32
PresetFiles=D:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\Mass Effect 3.ini
just like that. provide correct path to each file reshade 3 needs. ingame you can press F2 to bring up the config menu and edit things to your liking. by default this preset runs in performance mode so you have to change it back to customizing mode. good luck with saving galaxy!
