I second that! Any chance this could be ported to the Legendary Edition? I really liked it when I was playing ME3! Me and probably many others would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
So first of all u have to dwnload and install ME3explorer latest version. Then, use the TEX explorer to make the tree of ME3. Do like this- TEX explorer- create tree (it will prompt u for making that)- it will take abt 10 min depending on your game size including DLCs and custom ones- done, exit that and return to TPF tools. Load the mods, press analyze with texplorer and then press install valid. u r good to go. U r welcome BTW
All armors have a variety of textures to be applied on the model. There's usually the following 3: DIFF: The actual visual image you look at -- the paint job. NORM: Makes it look more 3D without actually needing to make more triangles. Can make the lighting reflect as though there were bumps, seams, wrinkles, dimples, etc. SPEC: How the model responds to lighting, or how reflective/shiny it is. Glass or latex would make liberal use of this texture; wood would not. Also makes "false" lights that look like glowing LEDs or whatever, but don't actually produce light that illuminates nearby objects.
The following two were odd textures I noticed were only used on customizable armors: TINT and STRP. The RGB values in these two images correspond to what areas would be colored using the armor locker. Red in one image might be the primary color, and green the secondary color. Blue might be one of the pattern colors, and then there's the next image which contains more pattern information. All they do is basically override the color in the DIFF with whatever color is selected in the armor locker.
There is currently no way to do that with my mod. However, with Nameislooney's mod on Deviantart, you could apply that to the EDI model yourself while browsing ME3Explorer.
For anyone wondering, you can install this with ALot and then either make the changes in coalesced.ini editor to get the armor right away, or simply wait until you find or purchase the armor parts in the game.
