I downloaded this mod before and it actually worked before but now downloading again it doesnt work at all, she does the endless clicking of marksman and doesnt do anything not sure what i am doing wrong since i've installed it via mod manager.
also when installed every points in marksman that you've used for ashley is gone though not sure if that's part of the mod where it means that the mod works or not.
Thank you so much for this mod, you are a savior! I love Ashley in ME3 and having her broken like that by developers and just left in this state is just nuts.
- Works flawlessly for me (I'm not using any extra mods besides ALOT for ME3 since I prefer vanilla look and feel) - Just extracted the provided "DLC_CON_ASH" folder into Origin Games' ME3 DLC folder "\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\DLC\", restartloaded my last save and it works perfectly - ALOT for ME3 (which I highly recommend btw, it's an amazing work by community to enhance ME series and make them replayable with high quality) seems to have put other necessary .dll files into Bin directory by itself
P.S. Oh, and f*** you Bioware for breaking this squadmember so blatantly and never even bothering to fix it after multiple community reports.
I'm having the same issue. Neither Alliance Warpack, ME3Recalibrated, Ashley Warpack and this fix, fixes. It's kinda absurd when you think that this game was left with a bug, who came with a patch in the first place, and was left there, with a character cannot using a skill.
if I'm not mistaken, Marksman's bug is linked to the armor she wears, so a mod says he fixed the bug, it means he fixed the bug linked to that texture, if you use any type of texture, both in armor or face (I think), the bug fix doesn't work.
at least that's what I read a few years ago, I posted a message just below that asking for clarification, but so far the modder hasn't answered me.
So here's the problem - lets say Ashley has three sets of armour she can wear, but only two of the armour files have the Marksman bug fixed, the last armour file still has the broken code. If you then equip that armour on her, Marksman will break and you can't fix it by going back to a fixed file, it will stay broken for the rest of the game.
This mod does fix the problem, BUT it relies on any other file for Ashley that you use, also being fixed. I'd recommend checking to make sure they are before downloading and using any Ashley files for that reason.
Nice, thank you so much for the easy DLC mod too ! You should maybe add to the description that it is possible to further mod Ashley's textures, if the DLC mod is included in the Texplorer tree. It's not obvious for inexperienced users.
Just a thought : AVPen apparently already did a DLC mod fix here : http://me3explorer.freeforums.org/post15770.html?#p15770

Yes, I made that back at the end of April, but forgot to add it to the Nexus (probably because I was just getting into the research and development of my Bonus Power Packs mod at the time).
@AVPen If I download yours, will it be at risk of the whole multiplayer ban thing that comes with modding ME3? If not, could you make a DLC mod version of the James Vega N7 armor?
And the one you linked seems simpler. It doesn't require replacing binkw32.dll and it doesn't hijack Tab button for console funcionality (which is present in this mod, despite not being mentioned anywhere in the description... surprised me a little)
This mod fixes the bug in which Ashley keeps activating her ability endlessly. Technical explanation of the bug: upon activation she stands stock still and is constantly activating Marksman (the activation sound keeps going off and her omni-tool lights up). Sometimes she can get stuck, both in the open and in cover, which makes her not very useful as squadmate. Workarounds are: don't spend points in Marksman, disable squad member power use. It wasn't originally bugged, Bioware broke it after Patch 1.04.
I must be doing something wrong on the install, as this mod does not work for me. If I replace the files, the game locks up after I leave Earth to go to Mars. If I use the DLC, I get the message "Unable to authorize the listed DLC> Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC." I'm using Windows 10 on a 64 bit machine. And I also copied the contents of "For Placement in Binaries_Win32 Folder" to "...\Binaries\Win32" folder.
I see "This mod requires the use of ME3 Explorer" in the instructions, but don't know how to do this.

Not sure if the mod targets only Ashley or the power itself.
I installed your fix and I also have ME3Recalibrated installed but the Marksman fix still doesn't work.
Also due to ALOT I can't do much tinkering to the install without starting from scratch each time.
Can you assist please?

Grateful for any ideas.
