UPDATE 3: HOLY SHISNO! 100 Endorsements! I am supremely grateful for all your support!
UPDATE 2: YES! We hit 80 endorsements! Thank you all very much
UPDATE 1: After a criminally long-time, the Slim N7 Tyhpoon mod has finally been converted into a drag-and-drop version. I sincerely apologize for all the frustration you've had to endure and am grateful for your patience.
As old as this series is, I am relatively new to it. I thought the face shield on the Typhoon looked ridiculous, so when I came across this mod, I knew I had to get it. O'm looking forward to seeing and using the N7 Typhoon's new look!
I remember there used to be a Mod that shoved the face shield plates together so you still had them but they weren't in your way... now I can't seem to find the mod though... while I appreciate your work on this mod, do you know if there's a place I can find the old mod that disappeared?
I was using that machine gun earlier when I thought to myself " I wonder if anyone made a mod to remove this idiotic face shield." Definitely one of the dumbest designs I've ever saw. Thank you for fixing it!
For everyone who still doesn't know what OP meant by "index"-ing ' DLC CON GUN 02 ' - the mod's DLC file name:
You need to "build" a new me3tree using the ME3Explorer from scratch - which means deleting the existing one (if you already created one before) from the ME3explorer folder - and you need to include this mod's DLC file name in the list of files the tree will contain when the prompt asks. This also goes for any other mod where you have to use Texplorer to replace textures - since Texplorer will read the newly created me3tree file to try to find the files the mod(s) will replace.
Since you haven't responded to other posts in the last few months, I'm not holding my breath on a response for this one, but I figure I'll ask in case you ever do take a look. You tell us to index DLC_CON_GUN_02 in Texplorer. Opening up Texplorer, I have not found the specified file listed. Everything I've tried on the basis of what I *think* you're saying has not worked. Could you please give a more detailed description of this first step?
Its quite simple: Run textplorer and tell its to build a database of your me3 files. Ensure that you have the "DLC_CON_GUN_02" in your DLC folders before hand and it should all workout.

Thank you for laying out the instructions
