The only reason I dislike and refuse to endorse this mod is because the creator refuses to simplify the process or properly explain the steps to install.
Hi. I managed to get it to work with ME2 through using an ME2 mod called Expanded Shepard Armoury (ESA). Basically just install the tank top mod for ME3 as the instructions state. Then download the Expanded Shepard Armoury mod (you will need the ME2 DLCs) for your ME2 game. Then, it should just automatically appear under your casual outfits.
This is the mod I'm talking about= https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect2/mods/291?tab=description
I'd really love to use this mod. Unfortunately, I am not willing to give up the intro outfit for it. Is there anyway to get this to replace another outfit, such as the ugly spacer outfit?
On the contrary, i find that really realistic... because you cant wear that in citadel, your ship, etc.. what about leadership? dont forgett, Shepperd was in jail, so its ok only see this in the opening...
@ Zhatalja *"Only for the opening cutscene? What a useless mod"* I am aware this replaces the introduction outfit, but, how does that make this mod only for the introduction? I read no where in the description that it only worked during the introduction.(Also, I don;t know about you, but in my game the intro outfit is kept available w/o mods through the entire game.) Alternately, there is a way to use the files to replace one of the others (that I read about on the 'Buff FemShep Tank Top' mod) for example, the standard fatigues outfit, or if you have the N7 version of the game, the outfit with the N7 hoodie.
@tino_trivino *"On the contrary, i find that really realistic... because you cant wear that in citadel, your ship, etc.. what about leadership?"* I beg to differ. There is such a thing as off duty time, and clearly Shepard has off duty time on the Citadel (and not just as part of the Citadel DLC).
I would love to use this mod, but I don;t use either of the tools that this mod requires... I use ME3 Mod manager and the ALOT installer only. I would defiantly use if I knew what to do to get it to work using these tools instead.
Sorry, this is my first experience with Mass Effect 3 mods - I've managed to get it installed and working in my game, however now I can't use the Citadel DLC? As in, it tells me to log in to the Alliance Network account I purchased it with, when I'm already logged in? I don't know if it's affected my other DLC's i.e. Omega, Leviathan. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it
Okay, so maybe I'm just totally confused here... I don't see Shepard in this clothing at all. Instead I see some horribly mutated texture covering his entire body everywhere there is clothing. I'm using Texmod and ME3Explorer just like it says. Then i get this stuff. Someone please explain wtf I'm doing wrong so i don't have to uninstall this game a fifth damn time.
That's because you only added the .tpf file with texmod. It only retextures the 4th casual Shephard outfit, but doesn't place and add the visuals correctly. To visualize this, you could say you've only added the paint, but not the entire painting yet; it has to be put together correctly.
To complete the mod, you need to install the .mod file that comes with the download, with ME3 explorer: - open ME3 explorer - Tools -> Mod Maker (Select your ME3 executable -> Mass Effect 3/Binaries/Win32/MassEffect3.exe ) - File -> Load jobs ( Select the .mod file of this mod, it might have to update, -if so- let it update) - Run -> Run All --- Now the mod is correctly installed.
Now u can start the game with Texmod like you've done already.
