About this mod

11/19/15: This mod gives EDI a more human face with more human-like hair instead of a helmet. It also gives her a more human-looking body. I've given her a breast reduction, smoothed and narrowed her hips as well. File contains organized pcc files containing the mods. Copy-replace the originals.

I long wanted to give EDI a more human-like appearance, if for no other reason then so Joker wouldn't be having a romance with a blatant sex toy. I gave her actual ears and hair, but have also kept her looking clearly synthetic. This mod makes subtle changes to her face (mainly two sets of eyelashes rather than just one) and gives her a shortened version of Ashley's hair. I paired EDI's face with Eva's scalp to provide ears as well as a scalp upon which to place the hair mesh. Paired with the head mod is a body mod where I've replaced EDI's clearly robotic default body with one based on one of her alternate appearance body suits. I've edited all of EDI's bodies so they are smaller breasted, slimmer hipped, smoother curved. Due to the nature of the material assignment in the EDI files, while I've used the same black-and-gray version of her body suite provided in a DLC, it still looks like an entirely new uniform because of the sheen and gray tinting. Overall I think it looks pretty good.

Just as I was finishing my EDI face mod Largon, right here on Nexus, released his own EDI head mod. He did something I originally set out to do: give EDI human skin tone and hair-like hair, all taken from EVA. In my own work I just personally decided I preferred the synthetic skin and Ashley's modified hair and decided to keep her clearly synthetic but, nevertheless, more human looking than before. Can't have Joker blatantly having a relationship with a hardware appliance. Now she looks more like a woman so...you go Joker.

If you have texture issues after installing a mod, you can try tpf texture installs via TPF Tools in ME3explorer (I am beginning to offer a tpf optional file for texture issues). Ottemis has written a nice tutorial on using TPF Tools here: http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/articles/66/?
