The Reaper rebuilding were actually controlled by the Geth (In the game, Legion confessed to Shepard right before the last battle on Rannoch that he had the "Reaper Upgrade Codes". Before he died he uploaded the codes to all Geth). The Reapers are "dead". They only have a dozen... old machines.
Chose destroy.....But because the game had a Citadel Epilogue mod. Only Harbinger and friends were space fried. EDI and the Geth lived. Kasumi was standing in the engineer room right next to the Drive Core reactor during the Suicide mission. Because the system was not upgraded. It overloaded and blew up the compartment. Kasumi turned to ash as a result.
Jacob volunteered to go in the vents and open the doors despite not being an expert. Despite being loyal he was killed during the linkup. (The only guy that could have pulled it off in my play thru was Legion, Tali was not loyal and upset with Shepard because he exposed her daddy's crime to the Quarians and Kasumi was dead by that point).
Thane volunteered to be a Fire Team leader for the diversion team, despite being loyal he was not good and was killed during link up.
Jack's death was not her fault. But because I had Samara a biotic shield. Jack was left unprotected and was grabbed by the Swarns. That happened because Samara was not loyal...My Shepard never had a discussion about Morinth (It made the Asari Sanctuary Quest in ME3 very interesting, Liara had to explain the whole Ardat Yakshi thing). Samara was with Shepard in the final battle against the Human Reaper, when it went Kaput, she fell and broke her neck.
Grunt was a non loyal survivor from ME2. It was very heartbreaking to see him not being loved nor respected by other Krogans. In the Rachni mission you can hear him ranting on how his men would not listen to him resulting in many deaths. Grunt died as a result and Wrex was heartbroken lamenting that " He was a good kid, strong. A damn shame his company never took to him".
Miranda...I forgot to warn her about Kai Lang.
Legion and Mordin were scripted to die in ME3.
Tali was the most interesting of all. She was the only non loyal crew in ME2 to survive to the very end of ME3. She even forgave Shepard..Even better peace between the Geth and the Quarians was achieved..
3 were scripted to die (2 Male [Assassin + Merc] + 1 Female/Male if you let her die in Pt1) Tali + Samara had not been Re-encountered, Yet ! Why the Doctor, Miranda, Jacob + Kasumi were not there ? I do not know. Legion ? Can't recall, defo around for the big fight on Rannoch.
I did my picture at the very end (Citadel Epilogue mod. It's up on the Nexus). The only survivors were Wrex, Garrus, Tali, Zaeed (the ONLY ME2 character to survive till the end) EDI, James Vega, Javik, Liara, and Shepard. It was very heartbreaking. As for the others
In Mass Effect 1 Ashley Williams (Shepard first waifu died in Virmire) In Mass Effect 2, 5 died in the Suicide Mission in Kasumi (Reactor blew up) Jacob (Tech expert) Jack (went with the Swarms) Thane (Fire Team Leader). Samara (Broke her neck in a fall). In Mass Effect 3 Mordin (Died but cured Genophage). Legion (Died but peace with Quarian and Geth Achieved). Kaiden Alenko (Died in standoff during Cerberous Coup). Grunt (Died while saving Shepard and Rachni Queen). and finally Miranda (Shepard 2nd waifu).
