Over the last couple of months, I have gotten questions on story decisions I made for Project Variety. Rather than answer them piecemeal, I have decided to answer the most commonly asked questions here,

Shouldn’t Pallin be Executor instead of Chellick? This was mentioned in Mass Effect Inquisition.

My stance on EU lore is that it is okay as long as it does not conflict with in game canon. Chellick was mentioned to be Executor in a news report by Emily Wong in Mass Effect 2. What's more, if you use ME2Reclaibrated, it is explicitly mentioned that Chellick is executor. For these reasons and more, I have decided to exclude Mass Effect: Inquisition Lore from this mod.

Why did you make the Krogan the leaders of the Blood Pack?

It is mentioned multiple times throughout the series that the Vorcha in the Blood Pack are cannon fodder. The Krogan are the real leaders of the gang and have always been. Therefore, it makes no sense for the Vorcha to be the leaders of the Gang in Mass Effect 3.

Why did you add a Tertiary Codex and edit the main Codex when this mod is mostly visual?

For the main codex, I only fixed lore breaking stuff. As for the tertiary codex, I thought it was a cool way to bring in EU lore into the game.

Why did you change the loading screens?

I thought the original loading screens were far too gamey. I think the new ones are more immersive.

Why did you change the NPCs in the Leviathan Vision to Anderson, Saren, and TIM?

I thought that if Leviathan were to look into Shepard’s memories, it would use more impactful people in its vision.

Why did you add Quarians onto the Citadel? Didn’t they all go back to the Migrant Fleet?

Quarians only appear on the Citadel if they survived Rannoch. The only exception are a few in the Refugee docks and Silversun strip. It is my belief that some would have refused the call back to the Mirgrant Fleet

Will you make any of these changes optional?

No. In the past I have been flexible about what could be optional in this mod, but I will not change these features. I consider them to be a core part of the mod.
