Mass Effect 2 Randomizer is a randomizer for the second Mass Effect game on PC. It can randomize many different things at your discretion
and will produce a significantly different feeling game depending on the options you choose!

A small part of all the options

Check out the image gallery to see what different randomizers can do. Feel free to add your own images to the gallery of what random things
you find on your journey!

Usage of Mass Effect 2 Randomizer is very simple:

1. Run application
2. Make a backup (if you haven't already with an ME3Tweaks tool)
3. Pick randomization options
4. Select Randomize

Want to re-randomize (fresh)?

1. Click 'Restore game'
2. Select 'Quick' restore, which will restore a select few basegame files and remove DLC component
3. Randomization is now uninstalled, ready for fresh installation

Want to add an option you missed before?
Make sure you uncheck 're-roll' randomization, and then
ONLY pick new options you want, as changes will apply to the existing randomization.

There are several things you should know before installation

MEMORY REQUIREMENTS
Multithreaded randomization greatly speeds up randomization times at the cost of memory. With testing,
I found that multithreaded randomziation uses up to 6GB of memory. If you don't have this much
free memory, consider turning off multithreaded randomization.

DISK SPACE REQUIREMENTS
A full game randomization can use up to 20GB of disk space. 99% of the randomization files are stored in a DLC mod, which
uses a lot of disk space (as it's a modified copy of files), but this enables many things, such as reliable DLC modifications
and quick uninstallation.

GAME VERSION REQUIREMENTS
Mass Effect 2 Randomizer ONLY works with official INT versions of the game on 1.02 version of the game.
Pirated or localized versions are not supported.

BACKUP GUIDANCE
You should make a backup using the backup game button before you randomize the game. This backup is shared with ME3Tweaks
Mod Manager and ALOT installer and will make re-rolling a randomization MUCH faster.

MIXING WITH MODS GUIDANCE
Mass Effect 2 Randomizer was only tested with ME2Controller. It should work with other mods, but
they won't be supported if they don't work.

TEXTURE MOD GUIDANCE
You should only run a randomization pass before installation of texture mods such as ALOT. This program was not tested for use
with texture mods, and I won't be supporting texture mods - if it works for you, great, if the game dies, it'll be up to you to fix it.
