Regarding porting to MELE and/or updating to use the newest modding tools:
While I do intend to do this, there is no guarantee that I’ll actually get round to it. My hard drive is littered with modding projects in various stages of completion.
Therefore, anybody who wishes to port, update or just use as a resource for other mods is welcome to do so.
No, it doesn't affect Morinth''s outfit. As for putting it on Shepard, it would work as a mesh replacer (replacing one of the unused N7 armours), but I'm not sure sure about adding it to the armour locker via coalesced editing; adding unique NPC armours can make the game very unstable.
I know this kinda got mentioned in a previous comment already and is still kinda off-topic, but how did you get the outfit Shepard is wearing into ME2? I know you used ME3Explorer but apart from that I'm not sure what else as I have little to no experience with ME3Explorer. Do you think you might be able to release the outfit as a ME2 mod?
Maybe not with those textures (they're from this mod: https://heleuss.tumblr.com/post/155777343934/download-mirandas-new-outfit-mod), but I have been working on it. I just suck at finishing and releasing stuff (too easily distracted by other mods).
Forgive me if this is off-topic but I noticed that the outfit your Shepard is wearing is also a mesh swap! Does this mean custom mesh mods are finally becoming possible? I've looked online and never found much - I'm just terribly curious about that, as I am huge for fashion mods and would love to see some available for FemShep in ME2!
The newest/rebooted version of ME3Explorer supports full mesh modding in ME2 and limited mesh modding in ME1 (ME1 mesh modding is still buggy): https://me3tweaks.com/me3explorer/
It's implemented differently, now geared more towards DLC mods than replacers, and it's still new(ish) territory, but the possibilities are limitless!
Oh my gosh! I did a lot of custom edits for ME3 in terms of porting my own hair in or replacing outfits and such, but I'm a bit new to the whole thing. I just wanted to be pretty while I fight Reapers, hehe.
I would loooove to change my casual outfits in ME2. I'll play around with it, I hope it isn't too tough to accomplish! Ahh! This is super exciting to come back to after my last playthrough!!
It can seem a bit intimidating at first, but once you get into it, it's pretty simple. The new ME3Tweaks mod managers have tools that auto generate most of the files you need for creating DLC mods.
Can you submit mod info for your mod from the Mod Utils / Developer Options / Submit mod info? So I can add it to the DB of mods. Make sure you're in developer mode.

Great mod!
