It gives the game stronger colors, better light effects, a sharper picture/textures and makes the game overall look a lot better.

Its a reshade preset to make the game look a LOT better, believe me just try it out.
Stronger colours not too much though, better light effects stronger, a sharper picture meaning it makes the textures look more high res,
and it make the game look really cinematic and ports the graphics to year 2015 I say + MEUITM at least.
Install:
1: Download https://reshade.me/
2: Press select game, and select MassEffect in your Mass Effect/Binaries Folder
3: Press Direct3D 9; Press yes; Wait and then press OK; Close
4: Download my file preset(If you want you can try it out yourself and make your own preset its not hard like at all, or adjust my preset to your likings)
5: Copy it in your Mass Effect/Binaries folder
6: Start game(no worry the long loading is normal and will happen everytime you start the game, but its a small price to pay for quality I say); press shift+f2 then continue and in the preset selection you select my Mass Effect preset; continue and then finish.
And thats it, if you want to make your own preset or adjust mine then tick the boxes on and off you saw earlier and/or adjust the numeric values to your desired likings.
If this mod takes too much of your fps, tick those checked boxes in the Shift+F2 menu until you get the frames you want, some effects take more fps then others.
