Mass Effect Textures (MET) SR1 interior overhaul
MOD DESCRIPTION:
Here you got 74 brand new HD textures for a complete and well deserved SR1 Normandy interior overhaul.
All three ship decks are covered here: from the cockpit to the drive core, vanilla textures have been upscalled 4x to an standard 2K resolution mostly.
THIS MOD INCLUDES...
Wall and floor tiles, ship doors -including the access one-, consoles, lights, air venting ducts... unlike the SR2, most of the SR1 interior was dressed up with just the few textures here. The SR1 docking bay clamps and access ramp are also included.
THIS MOD DOES NOT INCLUDE...
Objects inside the ship like chairs, tables, desk lamps, shelves, laptops or crates are not included in this mod... yet.
MOD INFO:
This is a vanilla friendly mod! I´m for one that loves the ME series visual art so, as you may see in the "before / after" images provided, all textures have been upscalled trying to preserve the original look as much as possible.
This mod is a perfect partner for the most iconic ME game mod around: MEUITM by CDAMJC!
At the time of writting this, there is almost no texture overlapping between MET-SR1 and MEUITM mods, so you can install both with confidence. BTW, do not miss the excellent SR1 exterior textures included in MEUTIM! The Normandy never looked so good before!
MOD DEPLOYMENT:
This mod is available in two formats.
1.- As a single .mem mod file to install using Mass Effect Modder (MEM) by Aquadran. This is the highly recommended installation procedure and the only one I´ll be supporting.
2.- As individual .dds texture files in case you wanted to pick and choose which ones to install or if you wanted to install them using ME3Explorer or build a .tpf texture package file for TexMod.
MOD INSTALLATION:
1.- Mass Effect Modder installation:
Download the MEM mod file and extract using 7zip. Load the extracted .mem mod file into Mass Effect Modder and apply.
More information about MEM usage and how to install .mem mods can be found here and you can download it as .pdf document.
2.- Manual installation:
Download the textures packed file and extract the individual .dds texture files using 7zip.
Install the chosen .dds texture files using MassEffectModder or ME3Explorer or build a .tpf package file for Texmod at your convenience.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
Please, note that if you wanted to install this mod along with MEUITM, then ensure you to install MEUITM using MEM too.
