    I'm having troubles getting both this mouse fix and FPS counter/fpsc engine to load at once. If I put only the mouse fix in, that works. If I install only counter/engine that also works. But If I rename the counter/engine's dinput8.dll to dinput8_Remote.dll, then put the mouse fix dinput8.dll in, the fix will load but not the other. I've tried the folder method as well and it still doesn't load.

    No errors or anything, the fpsc simply doesn't load. I've tried both new (4.7.1) and old (3.4.0) versions as well.

      The correct way to install FPSCounter is to take FPSCounter.dll file (not dinput8.dll) and place it in Binaries/dinput8_Remote folder.

    ATTENTION ATTENTION

    To anyone that has problems installing this AND the FPS Counter all you have to do is use the executable download file for the FPS counter on the download page, don't use the manual.  The executable will create its own folder and work just fine. totally compatible.

    If anyone is interested, this seems to be working on the new Legendary Edition - made the game playable for me :)

      It didn't work for me with an Origin install. I copied the .dll file to \Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\Binaries\Win64

      Did you install yours in a different directory than I did?

      Right ... a DLL file that broke your game, that would be a first for me to hear that a DLL file broke a game!? This mod leaves nothing behind in your game as the author mentions on the description page, so If you do not like having better mouse controle in ME1 then simply delete the DLL file.

    ME on Origin, mousefix mod installed:

    tried modifying both ----> C:\Users\XXX\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config\BIOGuiResources.ini
    and N:\Jeux\Origin\Jeux\Mass
    Effect\BioGame\Config\DefaultGuiResources.ini  ---> don't work

    tried also to modify :
    DefaultGuiResources_fr_FR (cause i play FR) ---> don t work
    DefaultInput.ini---> don t work
    DefaultInput_fr_FR.ini---> don t work
    BIOInput.ini---> don t work

    Changed values from 11 to 1000, mouse still stuck ingame but not in menu...

    Any ideas?

      Yes you can since this mod does not touch any game file. Just place the dll file in the "\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mass Effect\Binaries\" and you should be good to go with this mod.

      It works perfectly for me, so on my side I would have to say ... no it does not need updating. Besides the game itself does not get updates so why would Methanhydrat have to update this mod according to you?
