To allow for faster startup loading, this mod completely replaces Insomniac Games and Marvel intro video with a one-second Bink Video file. You'll be right at the main menu after the game has fully booted itself, this mod also supports 1080p, 1440p and 4K displays as the video have different high-resolution variations. This mod is a must-have for those developing mods for the time and can save a bunch of time without having to keep dealing with the startup video. 

Let's start by installing the mod, you'll need to have the Spider-Man Remastered PC Tool developed by jedijosh920, you can download his tool from Nexus Mods or his Discord server. 

Very important to Convert Asset Archives to PAD (Tools > Convert Asset Archives) to ensure the game can read modded files and make sure to backup everything before installing!

Step 1: Open Spider-Man Remastered PC Tool and extract the file contents of 'fasterloaidng.zip' to your whatever file location, it should only be removeintro.smpcmod

Step 2: In Spider-Man Remastered PC Tool, head to File > Select Asset Archive Folder > find your 'asset_archive' folder in your game files

Step 3: Once loaded, let's press Install Mod and find removeintro.smpcmod and once a prompt comes up press Install! This may take a little while depending on your PC specs. After completion, the mod has been installed!

You can now uninstall the mod to restore the original intro files, I left a new package file in the files section! A new update has also been released to the main mod that addresses issues for some users causing the game to fail to boot.
