New Animations and Traversal Mechanic Inspired by Tom Holland Spider-Man

MCU ANIMATIONS is a modular animation overhaul that aims to bring the youthful style of Tom Holland Spider-Man to swinging, combat, idles and emotes in Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered! This is my most complex animation overhaul to date, and I'm proud to say that I've captured the style that Tom Holland is best known for in his role as Spider-Man! This mod includes:

- New Swing Intros
- New Web Releases
- New Jump Tricks
- New Combat Animations
- New Finishers
- New Idles
- New Emotes
- New Traversal Mechanic: Webwing Gliding with Physics and Steering!

SECTION I - Mod Presentation Proper
MCU ANIMATIONS is MODULAR, meaning I've separated the features into different files so that you can choose to use either all the features or only some of the features. This makes it much easier to be compatible with other animation mods out there such as Expressive Animations V3.0, Miles Animations - Modular and Raimi Animations!

I do have a warning for you though. I used reverse swing kicks to emulate Tom's floppy and spinny style, so I had to use specific swing intros to match that. That is why, unlike Expressive Animations, I bundled Swing Kicks and Intros together. Still though, feel free to try out different module combinations!!

Without further ado, let me take you through the features of each module!

Module 1 - MCU WEB RELEASES AND JUMP TRICKS

Let's first get differentiate the two. Jump tricks are the animations that play when you press the jump button during swinging while Web releases are the animations that play when  you simply let go of the swinging button without pressing anything else. Using these techniques in tandem can create a wonderful variety of animations for peter when you use this module!

This means that there is now greater variety between the jump tricks and web releases as opposed to its vanilla counterparts which were all similar in motion. With how this is made, you will be getting different kinds of animations playing when you jump or release from a swing on different height levels.

Module 2- MCU Animations

The vanilla animations for peter's webswing intros AKA when he thwips his webs looks so stiff in my opinion. I made this module not just to get the feel of Tom's loose and somewhat carefree style of movement, but also to emulate his level of experience as a hero as seen in the MCU movies.

For Swing Kicks, I wanted to really lean on Tom's affinity for spinning, pulling his webs and using his phone! That's why all of those styles of animations can be seen in this module!

For Swing Intros, I have gone far more in depth with this than any other swing animation mod I've worked on before. Now you have a wider variety of swing intros that will play under different conditions! You will notice this especially if you swing really fast!

Module 3 - MCU Air Idles
Similar to the first iteration of Air Idles in my Expressive Animations V3.0, these are are a new way to give your web swinging some attitude and style! These idles trigger conditionally and automatically during certain states of Spider-Man being suspended in air. These conditions include:

- After a 2nd webzip
- After jump release
- During super high altitude when Spider-Man is not in fast fall state

There mainly two air idles you can do. One is the "Chill" air idle as seen from Homecoming, and the other one is the phone air idle which is inspired by the Far From Home final swing scene!

A fair warning for the phone air idle: I must explain that Air Idles are triggered by two animation states, and sometimes only one may trigger if you're in low altitude. This is pretty rare, but it can happen and there is unfortunately nothing I can do about it. When this happens, the phone may either not pop out, or it may change orientation.

Module 4 and 5 - MCU Combat and Finishers

With the help of Piqo, we've created these modules essentially overhaul the ground combo, air combo, ground ender, air ender, combat idle and finishers of Spider-Man to emulate that of Tom Holland in the MCU movies!

The reference used create this module was Tom's combat style as seen from Spider-Man: No Way Home. This means he's low to the ground, prefers punches and uses his webs a lot! This module includes an all new webpunch animation as well where Spider-Man webs his enemy toward him then follows up with a left hook. It also includes a new combat idle reminiscient of his low stance in the final fight of Spider-Man: No Way Home against Green Goblin. That's only some of the many cool combat additions we've placed in this module.

The finishers module collects a mix of Peter and Miles finishers that focus on webbing which is how Tom usually fights his enemies in his movies! Moreover, this module includes 2 COMPLETELY NEW FINISHERS, and I mean finishers that you've never seen before! There's one new ground finisher and one new air finisher which you will see in the showcase video above!

Module 6 - MCU Phone Perch Idle

This module contains an all new perch idle for Spider-Man which has him using his phone! (which Tom does a LOT) I kept it in a separate module purely because it may have a small negligible issue  at times. Due to how perch idles are designed, editing them can sometimes make Spider-Man hunched over too much or hold his phone in a weird manner. There's that issue so be warned, but this is completely optional so don't worry if you don't want to use it. It's cool though because when you start the game, you have Spidey perched on a lamp post while using his phone (the issue doesnt occur at all when you load in perched state after loading a save)

Module 7 - MCU Webwing Gliding and Emotes

This module includes two new emotes: Hype up and Phone as well as an ALL NEW traversal mechanic: Webwing Gliding!
The way Webwing Gliding works is it replaces the animation AND physics of the FIRST WEBZIP that you can perform during traversal. Take note that the physics changes will only occur when performing a webwing glide in OUTDOOR environments. I purposefully left out indoor environments because that would not make sense at all.

Webwing Gliding will provide you with a speedboost that is calculated based on your momentum before initiating the glide. This means: the faster your momentum, the more speed you gain from Webgliding. Sounds fun right?

You can use this mechanic to get around the map in an all new and fun way! Currently, you're able to scale 2 blocks at max speed level when gliding. I didn't want to have him looking like an airplane so I limited it at that.

Now that you know how it works, please note that this REPLACES THE FIRST WEBZIP ANIMATION AND PHYSICS. However, your 2nd webzip animation and physics remains untouched!

SECTION II - COMPATIBILITY AND LOAD ORDER

Since MCU Animations is MODULAR, then it has maximum compatibility with other animation mods! So you can combine your own animation mix with modules from Miles Morales Animations (the SMPCMod Versions), Expressive Animations V3.0, WOS Mechanics and Traversal Overhaul and Raimi Animations!

Please also take note that this mod CAN BE USED AS STANDALONE, meaning it won't depend on other mods for it to work properly as seen in the showcase video above!

To get the same result as the video showcase/trailer, please install the modules in THIS EXACT ORDER
