- If you haven't already, try opening the game a few more times. This is a common issue with imported models and seems to fix itself after a few attempted launches.
- This fix worked for some other mods I was having trouble with: Open the game without the mod installed. Select the classic suit, and save your game with it on. Install the mod, and it should load in with the Spider-Gwen model instead of crashing on the suit selection screen. It may crash on the first try, which is normal. Try opening it a few times.
- Temporarily disable all other mods installed. Even if they aren't related to the classic suit, mods that change things such as webshooters and lenses may cause the model to load incorrectly and crash your game.
- Turn your graphics down, I have heard that doing this can fix the issue. ESPECIALLY if you are using raytracing, turn it off.
- Finally, go slow. If you switch between imported models too quickly or perform any kind of complicated series of actions before letting the game load properly, this is commonly known to crash the game.
If none of this works, then I would recommend waiting until a future release. The model importing tool I use is frequently updated to help with crashing and lag spikes, and I will update the mod whenever a new version comes out.
I appreciate everyone's feedback! I hope this fixes any issues :)
Fixed eyeballs will be up in a few. I've been editing the textures for so long it looks funny to me now, so please let me know if they look funny because I genuinely can't tell
Really great job with this mod, especially if this is your first one! The eyes look perfect now at least to me. I do notice a difference with the hands which is mainly noticeable if you're trying to use the photo selfie mode, the fingers seem to glitch out a tad bit now almost like they can't fold properly whereas they I didn't notice it before. It's just a minor thing really, thank you for all the work you've put into this :D
I worked on this for a few days but I couldn't get it working properly. The reason I replace the Classic Suit is because it uses one main texture file for the entire model, and the texture that came with the downloaded Gwen model works the same way. The Damaged Classic Suit has multiple different texture files for each body part therefore the Gwen texture does not work properly and I can't split it up. I apologize, I wish it worked :(
Horrible mod! This should be deleted if it's just going to crash.. I don't care about your long disclaimer I just don't want to reverfiy after ur trashware ruins my game.
hey bro! good mod but you gotta fix the eyes. they cant be textured like the whole suit it looks weird they need to look shiny and have some depth to them. hope u fix that but overall really good mod!
I do like the fact as plain as Gwen only if there was a better model for her if there was a way that you can grab black cat and just tweak her body frame a little and sweet the face and also the hair that will be a good platform to work on I guess if you know how to use blender or any software to make those particular models but I really do think that black cats frame is a good stepping stone but good luck on your mod and I wish the best of luck for you
I've been following this mod closely since its inception and I have to just say thank you for all the work you've put into this mod thus far. It's easily become my favorite spiderman mod and every update it gets even better! It's honestly hard for me to pick between the two recent new models now since they both look so neat, but thank you and thanks also to the mystery member that also worked on it!
