About this mod
This mod removes damage missions from all of the rackets in Mafia III Definitive Edition, except for Strip Club, Smack, Moonshine and Plow House. Keep in mind that this mod removes racket damage missions, but you'll still have to confront (kill or recruit) all the racket bosses.
- Permissions and credits
As we know, racket missions in this game can be painfully repetitive, spoiling much of the fun from playing. There's already mod for reducing damage threshold in each area, but personally, I find it insufficient.
This mod removes damage missions from all of the rackets in Mafia III Definitive Edition, except for Prostitution, Smack, Moonshine and Plow House. First three are neccessary for the game to record your progress properly, but damage threshold needed for Moonshine Racket is now set to only 15k dollars instead of previous 30k. Plow House (brothel in French Ward) missions are left intact - I wasn't able to to remove or modify them at all.
Damage missions for every one of the other 14 rackets are removed *completely*.
Keep in mind that this mod removes racket damage missions, but you'll still have to confront (kill or recruit) all the racket bosses.
Installation:
> copy tables.sds file into "Mafia III/sds_retail/tables" directory (if you’re running a Steam version, it's "Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia III/sds_retail/tables" location)
> replace existing file if asked
Remember to make backup version of the original file first!
